Aaron and Claire have been dating for almost a year now and he's been over a lot. "Mom, can Aaron spend the night?" Claire asked and I almost spit out my coffee. Jesse looked at her and I looked at him. Missy started crying and I ran upstairs. "Saved by the bell!" I said.

Claire's POV

After Mom ran upstairs to Missy, Dad kept looking at me. "Dad, are you having a stroke?" I asked him. "Claire, don't you think it's a little too soon for Aaron to be spending the night and...sorts." He said. "Dad." "I'm just saying. I just don't want you to do anything you might wanna do.." He told me. "Gross." I said. "Dad, seriously, we're just gonna watch movies and that's it. The door stays open." I said. "Claire, I'm sorry but I don't feel comfortable with that. I'm pretty sure your mother will agree with me on that." He said and I scoffed. "Well, can I at least go sleepover Keisha since Aaron can't?" I asked but I was actually gonna go to Aaron's. "Yeah. Ask your mother too though." He said.

Lara Jean's POV

I came downstairs with Missy. "Hey." I said looking at Jesse and Claire. "Claire's gonna go spend the night at Keisha's." Jesse told me. "Oh, that's fine. As long as you let us know you're okay." I told her. "Definitely. Thank you." She said then going upstairs. "So Aaron's not coming over?" I asked Jesse. "No. I didn't let her because...I don't want her to get pregnant at 17. We both know how hard it is to take care of a kid." He said. "You do. I don't because you put earplugs in my ears." I told him and he chuckled.

Claire left before dinner. We were eating and Justin came home. "Your plate is in the cupboard." Jesse told him. "Okay. Where's Claire?" He asked. "Spending the night at Keisha's. She went there earlier." I explained. "Oh. I guess I'm just gonna have to bug Missy." He said jokingly and I chuckled. "When are you guys going to ICCA's?" I asked him since the Trebles made it through regionals and they had semi-finals. "Next week. We're almost done with the choreography and we just need to finish the arrangements." He said. "That's good. I miss my days as a Treble." Jesse said and I chuckled.

Afterwards, I was reading a book and Jesse was cleaning up. It was around 8. I heard a knock. "I'll get it." I said and it was Keisha. "Hi, Mrs. Swanson. Is Claire home?" She asked and I got confused. "What? I thought she was with you." I told her. "No. We haven't talked since yesterday." She told me. I sighed knowing she probably went to Aaron's. "I'll tell her you came by. Although I might have to ground her." I said. "Okay. I'll see you and tell Mr. Swanson I said hi." "Bye, Keisha." I said.

I was so scared to tell Jesse. I went into the bathroom and tried calling Emily. "Hello." "Emily? It's Lara Jean." I said. "Oh, hi. What's up?" She asked. "Is my daughter there? Aaron's girlfriend Claire. Brown hair, brown eyes. She has a birthmark on her nose." I said. "Oh, yeah, she's here. Do you want me to tell her you called?" "No, no, no. I'll call her myself. I just wanted to check if she was there. Em, do me a favor and keep an eye on them." I told her. "Definitely. I'll talk to you soon." "Bye."

Claire's POV

Me and Aaron did.."it." while his mom was working and she came home. "Aaron!" She called out. We got out. "Hey, Mom. This is Claire." He introduced me. "Hi." "Yeah. Your mom is Lara Jean. Uh, what were you guys doing?" She asked. "Nothing." We both said "Okay..I'm gonna go make dinner." She said. "Okay." He said.

Lara Jean's POV

Emily called me again. "Emily? Hi. Did you check on them?" I asked. "Yeah. Seems like they didn't do anything." She said and I sighed with relief. "Okay. That's so amazing." I told her. "Why?" She asked. Amy was right. She's dumb. "Nothing. Nothing at all. I'll talk to you later." I said then hanging up. "Who were you talking to?" Jesse asked. "Emily. She called me just to get in touch. She knows Claire's with Aaron. Dating Aaron." I said. "Okay."
