Today is finally the day where Justin and Leah get married. 5 months later. Vienna's been around a lot which is good. She's also been staying with us. Everyone from Georgia is coming. They were getting married at the Marina Del Rey. Jesse woke up and kissed my cheek. "Today's gonna be busy." I whispered. "I know. It's scary too, huh?" "Very." I said. I got a text. "Open up, pitch! The Bella's are back!" Stacie sent. I got up and ran downstairs. I ran outside and we all hugged. "It's so good to see you, guys. I missed you." I said. "We missed you more." They said. "Come inside." I said.
"Bella's! Welcome, welcome, welcome!" Jesse said and I chuckled. Claire came towards us. "Claire!" They called out and hugged her. "Oh!" She said. Vienna came too and I ran to her and pulled her into the room. "If you don't want to rush things, I can totally ask them to leave for now." I said. "No, it's fine." "Okay." I said. "Girls, I want you to meet someone." I said and they all looked at her. "This is Vienna. My daughter." "What?" "Daughter?" "Did you have her when you were 4?" "Guys! Chill out. Just say hi." "Hi." They said. "Vienna, that's Cynthia Rose, Chloe, Stacie, Fat Amy, Esther, Aubrey, Jessica and Ashley." I told her. "Hi." She said with a big smile.
"Lara Jean." Dad said. "Dad! Um, you remember Vienna." I told him kind of awkwardly. "Vienna? Like...your daughter Vienna?" "Mm-hm." I said.Later, the wedding finally started. Leah looked so beautiful and I smiled while holding Jesse's hand. After, the reception started. I was dancing with Justin and I kept smiling. "What?" "My baby's married. My second born is married." I told him happily. "It's so weird hearing you say that because until 5 months ago, I thought I was the first born." He said and we laughed. We partied and partied the rest of the night.
A week later
I was showing Vienna some pictures from Barden or even Jesse and I's wedding. "No way. Someone recorded the riff off, the first one ever and sent it to me." "Let me guess, Benji?" I asked. "Wha--" "What's a riff off?" Vienna asked. "I'll show you." Jesse said excitedly. "Hey, you guys are in there." "Yeah, we are." I said as we watched.
"She just randomly started rapping." "Hey, Dr. Dre writes so much good stuff but you don't wanna listen." I told him and he chuckled. Someone knocked and Jesse went to answer it. "Where's my daughter?" "Dad?" Vienna called out. "Vinnie?" "Lara, how did you find her? Why did you look for her?" He asked me, upset. "She came to me! Don't blame this on me!" I told him. "Via, come on." "No, I'm staying here! I came to look for mom because I'm sick of you lying to me! All my life, you told me she never wanted me." "She never did!" He told her. "That's not true. Vinnie, you know that's not true. Our parents forced me to give her up because I thought my brother was dead! I always tried to look for her but you hid her from me!" I told him.
"Let's go!" "No, Vinnie, you go. Don't make me call the cops." I said. "Don't fucking tell me what to--" Jesse punched him and Vienna and I screamed-ish. "Get out." Jesse told him. He looked at us before walking out. I sighed as we watched him leave. "I can see that he hasn't changed." I added. "He's a drunk. That's the whole reason why I didn't want to go and so he wouldn't...um, show me some more pictures?" She asked, changing the subject. "Vienna, did Vinnie hurt you?" I asked calmly. She sighed. "He blacks out, forgets. He mistakes me for my step-mom." She said.
"I'm sorry. I know how it feels. He, uh, he used to do the same to me." I told her. "What?" "Your dad's always been a drinker. He started at 15. I couldn't leave him because he always threatened to do something to himself." I added. Jesse rubbed my back. She hugged me. "Thank you. For everything. Both of you." She told us. "Of course." I told her. Later on, we were having our movie night.
