We were getting ready for a show but it was just for old people. Cynthia Rose was going my hair. "There's a full house out there. How did we get this gig again?" Emily asked. "They called us." Chloe corrected. "You know what, girls? I know we're trying a lot of new stuff but I feel like we're gonna get out there and we're gonna feel that energy and we are just gonna nail all of it! I'm sorry, these braids are so tight." I said. Chloe was tripping out. "She's on fire!" Amy yelled and it was Cynthia Rose. "Ohz my God! Am I--" "Fuck! Cynthia Rose!" I yelled as we tried helping. "I can't breathe, girl!" She yelled.
On the bus it was so quiet. Thankfully, Cynthia Rose survived. I saw Emily writing. "Is that for a class?" I asked. "No, it's just when I get stressed words just sort of flow right outta me and I try and channel them in my songwriting and--" "Are we just gonna ignore what happened back there?! Guys, hello! The Worlds are right around the corner and you guys are acting like we didn't just eat a big bag of--AHH!" "Why are you yelling at me? I almost burned to death because of you a-ca-bitches." Cynthia Rose said. "Flo flipped into me!" "Sure, blame the minority." Flo said. "I'm black, gay and a woman." Cynthia Rose clarified. "I'm not pointing the finger at anybody...it was Legacy's fault." Amy said and I scoffed.
"Me? But I didn't--" "Obviously, we're not gonna beat DSM at their game. So we need a new plan, like now." I suggested. Chloe stood up. "At times like these, there's only one thing for us to do." She said. "Fake your own death and flee the country." Flo said. "Close. We're going on a retreat!" Chloe said again.
