In Hell Verosika was sleeping in her bed and reached over to feel for someone. Yet again there was no one there. With a sigh she woke up and rubbed her eyes. Checking her phone for any notifications from she responded to the ones from Ace and Apple. Once those were done she went to Y/n's where it read the following.
MESSAGE:
Three days ago
"How do tacos sound?"
"Not really in the mood for that. Can we go out to eat?"
"Sure. Tell me where you wanna go and I'll take you."
"Kay, I'll let you know where I wanna go."
Yesterday
"Only a few days left until the you know what? Are you sure you're okay in pride?
"Baby we'll be fine. Heaven doesn't got shit on me."
"I know but I can still worry about you"
"I'll be fine. How about after the Extermination how about I take you on a date."
"Sounds great! I can hardly wait."
Today
"Can we talk?"
"Are you there? Are you okay?"
"Why aren't you responding?"
MESSAGE END
Verosika stared at her phone in worry and thought back to their last conversation.
*Flashback*
Y/n arrived at her place and knocked on her door. She opened it and smiled seeing him giving him a hug.
Verosika:Hey Y/n! What are you doing here so early?
Y/n:I need to go handle some business so I'll be gone for a couple of days.
Verosika:Are you in trouble?
Y/n:No. But it was something I should have taken care of a while ago. But I just wanted to let you know that I'll be gone for a while.
Verosika:Okay. Just be careful alright?
Y/n:Got it.
They share and kiss and Y/n walks away from her door. Verosika looks at him with a smile that slowly turns into a look of worry. She could see the grief that he was hiding from her. She was good a hiding her own pain so she recognized someone else hiding their pain.
*Flashback end*
Verosika:By a few days I didn't think he meant a week. Where is he?
In the realm of dragons a large dragon that looked similar to earth went flying into the stadium wall. Y/n and Beru stood in the center of the fighting arena glaring around. Surrounding them were the unconscious bodies of various dragons. One of the beasts lying on the ground got up and growled at the two. It was a pale white and fog surrounded it with various injuries on its sides and wings.
Roaring in anger the dragon ran at them. Y/n raised his hand and sent a ki blast at it. The dragon blasted a beam of white light at him. The beams clashed and the closer the dragon got the stronger the beam became.
