Betrayal

Yohan opened yoonah's diary, curiosity was killing him, as he opened, he started to read :

8th September 2017,

Yoonah's POV

Yesterday was my 20th birthday and i entered my new adult age, Everyone celebrated their birthdays with their parents and my parents didn't even know my birthday,
From childhood till now I spent everyday all alone in between these four walls no one is there to take care of me, even asked me how I am?, there is no one to love me, I never in my whole life asked anything or insist anything, I just want to be loved. Do I asked something very big which I am not getting.

When I was 4, my mom left me, she abundant me, she left my dad for another guy, cuz she never wanted me as a child, dad never considered me as her daughter but just a mistake.

My dad remarried to kang Mina, now she is known by Jung Mina. She was a single mother, her husband died due to an accident. She has 1 daughter Jung mirae 2 yrs younger than me and 1 son Jung jiwon 2 years older than me. I was never happy with the plan of remarrying. My stepmom never cared about me, she just used to pretend to love me in front of my dad but behind him she always shouted at me and compared me with her kids and sometimes used to beat me. Her kids were just like her, my younger stepsister was more like an attention seeker and a bitch and my older stepbrother was nothing but a cold hearted person. My dad got them both admitted in my college, what could be worse than this.

7th November 2017,

We were in the mess eating our lunch, my stepbrother was sitting in front of our table. My best friend min sia got a big crush on him, from the day he started to study in our college she was literally obsessed with him. Sia was my best friend from childhood we were in the same school. I helped her in every way that my brother could love her but in return I got nothing.

Sia proposed to my brother jiwon and he accepted her wholeheartedly, she was so happy but more than her I was happy finally my bestie got someone who will love her and cherish her. At first it was all okay but slowly slowly she started to distant herself from me and used to spend more time with jiwon she also started liking my stepsister mirae I was so jealous, but I can't do anything.

Sia was so much into them that she forgot about me, and forgot about my existence. She didn't know that in search of them she lost me and I lost her. With that I lost my one and only friend Min sia.

4th January 2018,

Today there was a big fight in college, between my sister mirae and her friend, due to some misunderstanding. She accidentally pushed her friend and the world seemed to freeze when she lost her balance and fell down the stairs hitting the ground hard.

Mirae stood there stunned, as everyone around them scattered fear overtaking them. Blood pooling around her. Whole corridor was filled with silence. Mirae took her bag and ran from there, she was scared. Jiwon and sia also ran behind her for comforting her.

Within a few minutes all the professors and students get gathered at the scene and called for an ambulance. I just stood there in silence, freezed, cuz the incident really shocked me. After arriving the ambulance her friend was carefully lifted onto a stretcher staining the sheets. The whole day feels horrific to me.

In the evening, i made my way through the home, as i walked through the door only to be met with harsh sting on my cheeks, my father slapped me, I stepped back struggling to process what had just happened. He was looking at me with anger and disappointment

Han seo : do you even understand the consequences of what happened today.

He said angrily. I wanted to explain to him what happened but the next question he asked I felt betrayed.

Han seo : why did you push that girl Yoonah? You have stooped so low that you have started hurting others for your own selfish reasons.

His words were hurting me, i wanted to scream that I am not the one who pushed but the mirae pushed her, I tried to explain him

Yoonah : dad, I didn't push her, mirae was the one who pushed her.

Han seo : enough Yoonah! Just because you don't want to accept your fault don't push your mistakes to mirae.

Yoonah : but dad I.. I

He never let me complete my sentence, as I felt another sting on my cheek he slapped me again.

Han seo : don't argue with me Yoonah.

No-one dares to say anything, that I am not the one but mirae was there even jiwon and sia were the victims but they didn't say anything my dad made a call in the college but they all were blaming me that I am the reason for her accident no one is there to beleive me. The most hurting part was that my own friend was quiet She didn't say anything. I begged her to tell the truth but she just said.

Sia : Yoonah was the one who pushed her.

And I felt nothing but a betrayal, by my own best friend.
