Pushpa Ji was walking to and fro before the SHO's cabin when Haseena came out,

"Pushpa Ji kuch kam tha?" she frowned.

"Ji madam sir, wo kuch personal kam se bahar jana hei, bas adhe gante mei vapas ajayenge" Pushpa Ji asked worriedly.

"Sure, you can go. Actually, I am also heading out, do you want me to drop you?" Haseena smiled

"Thank you but I can manage" Pushpa Ji smiled, Haseena nodded and went out, 'Hey Shivji, please help me. What happens when she comes here? Before that how is Hasu going to react when I bring him here?' hoping for a less dramatic situation she moved out.

Doctor's office:

She entered the cabin, smiling at the doctor. The doctor shook her hand and offered her a seat.

"Is everything alright, doctor? The nurse said you asked me to meet you" She sat as her heart thudded loudly; something told her that she was not going to like what she going to hear.

"Yes, your reports are here" he passed them to her, worry written all over his face.

She went through the reports, many red marks and many more intelligent words which made her feel dumb for not understanding, but one thing was clear, something was horribly wrong and both her heart and mind refused to understand the situation,

"I am sorry doctor; I can't make anything from this. Can you please explain?" she sat with bated breath

"During the general check, I found that the heart's beat is a little off, medically this is called Arrhythmia which means irregular heartbeat. Arrhythmia alone is not a problem, good care and proper diet can help us maintain without any external help," the doctor sighed.

"So, if I took proper care everything will be alright?" she asked hopefully but it was smashed to the ground looking at the doctors' hesitation.

"In many cases, Arrhythmia is just a symptom of a major heart problem," the doctor gulped nervously preparing himself for the next conversation, "so, to be safe, I have prescribed further tests and," he sighed, "we found that the heart is suffering from a condition called 'Cardiomyopathy'- a disease that affects the heart muscle, making it difficult for the heart to pump blood. It can cause the heart to become thicker, stiffer or larger than normal."

She looked at him as silent tears flooded out of her eyes, "just when hope for a better future started sprouting, a storm of thunders and lighting already appeared on the horizon" she whispered, "this can't be happening!" she sobbed as relentless waves of agony wrecked her body.

The doctor gently placed his hand on her shoulder, she looked up from her palms where she buried her face, "You shouldn't lose faith, strong willpower can even bring down gods, we should fight with all we have"

"What's the treatment doctor?" she sniffed wiping her tears away

"The best treatment is heart transplantation and I would just suggest it as early as possible, we are already late at detecting it, with the proper medication we can manage some time but the faster the better."

"How much time do we have doctor?" she clenched her teeth to stop them from shivering.

"I am not going to give you any false hope, in conditions like this it depends on the patient, some live for years while some just for months, according to the condition we have more than a year but I would say the faster we could operate the better" he sighed.
