Karishma emptied her guts out, she placed her hand on the tree trunk to hold herself up, while the other hand clutched her stomach. Haseena sprinted to her swiftly pulling Karishma's hair back, caressing her back as Karishma hurled her morning coffee out.
As Karishma stood up, sure that her stomach was completely empty, Haseena took some water and cleaned her face, took out her handkerchief and gently dabbed on Karishma's face. She passed some water to Karishma to drink, while she wetted her handkerchief and sat on her knees cleaning Karishma's pants. Karishma watched all this teary-eyed, how she wished to see Haseena like this in her first trimester when the morning sickness was so bad that she used to lay on the bed for hours.
Karishma's thoughts broke when Haseena started cleaning her shoes, "What are you doing?" she moved a step back.
"Tch, can you stand still, please!" Haseena chided and continued her work while Karishma stared at her speechless
"How are you feeling?" Haseena asked standing up
Karishma nodded, "where is Arshu?" she glared at her
"Don't worry he is in the car with my friend" Haseena pointed towards the car
Karishma nodded and was about to walk when dizziness clouded her mind, Haseena who was standing beside her was quick to react and held her securely
"Thank you" Karishma mumbled standing straight
"I'll drop you home," Haseena said as they walked towards Karishma's Scotty, still holding her hand.
"I can go by myself" Karishma pulled back her hand
Haseena's anger shot up at Karishma's constant rebuke, "You can't even walk straight Karishma, how are you going to drive with him?" Haseena gritted her teeth
Karishma looked at her surprised by the sudden outburst, Haseena is not someone who loses her cool often and the only time she does that is when Karishma is careless and, in the years, they are together, she seldomly ever saw Haseena angry
Seeing Karishma's reaction, Haseena realised her tone, taking a deep breath she spoke, "I am sorry but it is not safe for you guys, please let me take you home" Haseena pleaded
Karishma took a moment and nodded yes, Haseena smiled and guided her to the car, carrying Arshad's bag with her
Raj got down seeing them, while Haseena helped Karishma into the passenger seat, Arshad was quick to climb into his mother's lap, asking about her health. Haseena signed Raj to come forward.
"She is not feeling well," Haseena sighed, "take this scotty and follow me. Once I drop them home you take the car and go to the station. Inform Pushpa Ji, I'll wait with them till she comes"
"Okay" Raj nodded, "and little Ghost is a little terrified" he smiled
"Hmm..." Haseena looked around, "keep an eye on them, I'll be back," Haseena said walking to the other side of the road and disappearing into a supermarket.
Karishma who was answering Arshad, saw Haseena talking to a constable and going towards a shop, she was back in a few minutes with a bag, she nodded to the constable and walked to the car, Karishma swiftly turned towards Arshad so as not to get caught by Haseena which she thought she succeeded but the chuckle from Haseena pointed something else.
Haseena wiped her sweat coming inside the car, the cold blast from the AC felt really good after the bashing heat from the sun.
"Hey, baby, how are you and your Mumma doing" Haseena smiled at Arshad
