Karishma was taking her Scotty out when Haseena came and sat behind her,

"What are you doing here?" Karishma glared at her

"Where are you going?" Haseena asked nonchalantly

Karishma sighed, she knew Haseena was not going to back down until she answered her, "I am going to get some ice cream for everyone"

"Good, I am coming too" Haseena settled herself comfortably

"You are not!" Karishma thundered

"I am! And you know it's a waste of time arguing with me" Haseena smirked

"Argh! Idiot!" Karishma mumbled under her breath

"Of course! But I am your Idiot" Haseena winked at her

"In your dreams" Karishma chided starting the scotty

As they rode, Haseena's arms slowly snaked around Karishma's belly. Haseena smiled as Karishma shuddered under her, "are you feeling chilly too?" Haseena whispered in her ears trying to save Karishma from further embarrassment.

Karishma's breath hitched in her throat, firstly her body had no self-control as it melted under Haseena's touch and now with Haseena's breath fanning over her neck, she had to use all her energy to save them from getting hurt in an accident. However, she couldn't bring herself to answer, she just nodded and continued driving, although she tried to recover but her thudding heart spoke against it.

As time passed both started enjoying the warmth and the familiar sensation of home spreading inside them. It's been years and still, their muscle memory kicked, it felt so right that they didn't mind letting themselves indulge in the moment. No grudges, no anger, no pain and no guilt, it's time they experience the solace they craved for years.

Karishma stopped before the shop, Haseena let herself have a few seconds before moving away from Karishma, they both were disappointed and none wanted to speak fearing to break the peace which engulfed them, they had done their shopping in silence and went back home.

Monday 8:45 am:

Haseena sat in her car tapping on the steering, a habit she picked up during her 4-year exile to Spain, most of the time she is conscious of it and tries to stop in others' presence but when she is alone like today, she doesn't mind. Her phone beeped informing her about an incoming message, and quickly replying to it, she again continued drumming the steering.

Cheeta knocked on her door, informing her of their arrival. Soon Karishma and Arshad also arrived.

"Ammi!" Arshad shouted delighted to see his mother at his school, "you came!" he jumped into her arms

"Of course, I would! How can I say no to my Cielo" Haseena kissed his forehead.

"Ap Arshu ke sat yeha rahiye, hum sab Principal se bat karke ate hei" Karishma looked at Haseena

"Ji" Haseena nodded

After a few minutes, they all came back to Haseena and Arshad.

"Admission milgayi" Cheeta announced

"Chalo aj indono ko class tak chodke ate hei" Karishma led the way

Haseena's smile widened, she knew Karishma was doing this for her, to let Haseena have her moment where she send off her son to school for the first time. As the four parents stood outside the class seeing their kids, Haseena's eyes teared up and she was quick to wipe it off but can anything be hidden from Karishma? Of course not!
