Chapter 75: The Filial Brother

In the early hours of the morning, the hospital began to stir.

Miao Jun pushed open the door of the ward and looked towards the bed, his gaze meeting Mu Yang's. Miao Jun paused, surprised by the vigilant look...

Glancing at the sleeping Song Yimo in Mu Yang's arms, Miao Jun gestured towards the door and silently said, "I'll go buy breakfast."

Mu Yang nodded lightly.

Enduring this for three days was not easy for all three of them. Miao Jun's complexion had worsened after three days.

After administering the final dose of mobilizing agent, Guo Chao looked at the emaciated Song Yimo and said, "Starting tomorrow, Lu Yan will come to draw blood for testing. Once the stem cell density is sufficient, we can proceed with the separation process."

Song Yimo was a bit worried, "How long will it take?"

"It could be as soon as three days or as long as a week," Guo Chao smiled. "In a rush to go home for the New Year?"

"Yes," Song Yimo fretted. "It's almost New Year's, and nothing has been bought at home."

Miao Jun reassured her, "You don't need to worry about that. Let your Miao Mama handle it, focus on taking care of yourself. The doctor will proceed when the time is right, don't do anything to harm your body."

Guo Chao nodded in agreement, "Your uncle is right. This concerns your health, it must be qualified before extraction. You haven't left the ward in three days, once the side effects of the mobilizing agent have subsided tomorrow, you can go shopping in Y City for some new clothes for the New Year."

"She hasn't just stayed in the ward for three days, she hasn't even left the bed for a step in three days," Miao Jun sighed and took Song Yimo's place, "Thank you for your concern, Dr. Guo."

Guo Chao came out of the ward and saw Song Yi, Miao Jun, who had seen her, naturally looked away.

Giving her a glance, Miao Jun turned his gaze back to Guo Chao, "It's up to you, Dr. Guo."

"It's my duty. Take care of Song Yimo's health. Although extracting bone marrow won't have any impact, her body will still be at a disadvantage for a short period of time." Guo Chao glanced at Song Yi, clearly directing his words at her.

Song Yi turned her head away and her expression was unreadable from this angle.

Guo Chao returned to his office, and unsurprisingly, Song Yi followed.

Seated in the office, Guo Chao tidied up his desk and asked, "Mrs. Song, is there something you need?"

How could Song Yi not see Guo Chao's dislike for her?

She felt that if she were an outsider, she would also despise someone who disregarded their daughter's life for their son's sake.

But she was in the midst of it, and her son was the one on the brink of death. If her bone marrow could help, she was willing to endure all this pain.

For three days, Yimo had not left the ward, and she couldn't see anyone.

The nurses on duty were all commenting on how they had never encountered such a strong reaction to the mobilizing agent before, yet the little girl endured it without a word.

It pained her to hear this.

But Yimo only suffered for three days, if her son didn't have Yimo's bone marrow, he would have lost his life!

Which was more important?

Who wouldn't prioritize the one in immediate danger?

All this talk was easy for those who weren't in the same situation!
