Y/N

"What are you up to?" I asked without looking up from my phone as soon as the door of my office opened and Krystle came in.

Her heels echoed in the air before she took a seat in front of me, placing her purse on my desk. "The same old gold business"

I hummed without looking up.

"Won't you ask me why I was there?" I didn't glance at her but I could feel her lips pulling up in a smirk.

"I don't care" I replied, although my nails are sliding on the sides of my phone. That's a habit of mine whenever I'm contemplating something.

The woman in front of me didn't seem to notice it as my legs are on the table, I'm leaning on the chair with my phone down, away from her gaze.

"I met them" My hands stopped moving but I didn't look up or divert my gaze even a little. A mere exchange in my behavior and I would get caught up in her radius.

"Won't you ask how they are?" She continued after not getting a reply from me.

Then, slowly, too slowly I looked up and met her gaze. I wasn't wrong when I thought I'd see that damn smirk when I'd look up.

I took a deep breath, without showing any hint of expression change despite the whole rush of emotions I'm feeling inside of me. One more thing I've learned all these years, to have control over emotions. Before I was forced to not show any emotions, I was stopping myself. But now, I don't show emotions, I've full control over myself and I know if I want to show I can right now, But I won't. Before I used lenses to hide my eyes which showed emotions but now, I can hide them with my real eyes.

I moved my chair a little before tilting my head. If I wouldn't look up at the mention of them, she'd know that I'm pretending everything all along which I won't let her see no matter what. I raised a brow at her.

"They're doing good, without you" I didn't think the last part would hurt the shit out of me. I felt someone stabbed my heart and crushed it. I hummed and then focused back on my phone.

"I met your closest friend Sara, well.." She exhaled before continuing. "she looks more mature and beautiful now and why wouldn't, she's a married woman now." I hummed again.

"I met your Best friend and his daughter" I met her gaze, her smirk erased as she stared at the Sydney city without any expression. When I didn't say anything she continued. "She looks exactly like his father, same smile, the look in her eyes, the determination, the dramatic expression"

Her gaze met mine. "But you know what, she's stubborn, extremely stubborn, just like you" My heart skipped a bit. "Her words are the same as you whenever a similar situation occurs"

I gulped. She got up from her seat and turned around to leave.

I opened my mouth to ask the question I've been wondering about for years. "How.. How is Jungkook?"

She looked over her shoulders. "I thought you don't care about him?"

"I never said that" My voice was barely audible. "You also know that I love him"

"Then why did you leave him?" She faced me completely as I noticed a tick on her jaw.

"I left him because I had reasons, I couldn't bring the same situation as mine for ARMY. They love him and I don't want the same hurt I've gone through for them, Jungkook is their love and priority.  He's the best with them. Besides, you needed my help" I got up from my seat.
