In a dimly lit room, the fabric of the gown shimmering subtly in the soft candlelight, creating a captivating play of shadows and light. The dress stood out like a beacon of elegance and sophistication. It was like a piece of art in motion. It embodied a sense of timeless beauty and grace.

Standing in front of the mirror, I observed myself. As if someone is waiting for you to see you like this. A scoff left my lips.

Grabbing the suit from my chair, my hand made its way towards the pocket. My bows furrowed when I couldn't find the photo. Running here and there I threw all the things. My room became a mess at the instant.

"where's that photo? It was in my pocket" Massaging my head I called Jack before leaving the room.

He answered the call immediately.

"Hello"

"Jack listen, that photo is missing" I said entering the elevator.

"what do you mean?" He asked in confusion.

"I mean the photo Jack, Krystle's family photo, I'm damn sure I had that photo with me when I entered the resort" I explained in a hurry.

"first calm down, take a deep breath" I did what he said.

"Now listen, are you sure you had that photo?"

"yes Jack I'm damn sure about it, when Sara called me I checked while picking up the call, the photo was there" I replied exiting the elevator.

"did you fall or what?" that's when it clicked me that i bumped into that girl.

"When I was talking with Sara, I bumped into a girl, I think it fell at that time, wait, I'm right there, lemme check" he hummed while I checked everywhere.

"did you find it?" he asked after five minutes.

"no, it's not here" I replied with a sigh.

"then leave it, that wasn't going to be of any use anyway." He said

"it was, I needed it" I replied raising my voice.

"what have you done if it was there? you can't find any three of them y/n. Neither her father nor mother, besides her sister-" He scoffed before continuing "her face is stained and her information? even her existence is nowhere to be found" He sighed.

"but-" "no but's, go and attend the party" he cut me off.

"yeah, yeah, whatever" I rolled my eyes with a sigh.

"I'm hanging up" he said, I hummed in response.

"y/n.."

"hm?" I asked waiting for him to continue.

"don't stress yourself, take care" he said in a gentle voice making my heart filled with warmth.

"I'll, don't worry" he hummed before cutting the call.

Sighing, I made my way towards the hall.

JUNGKOOK'S POV

She hasn't returned yet. But why would I care? She doesn't care anyway. Did she really forget everything? Nothing matters to her now? The hugs, the kiss, the comfort, she really forgot everything, didn't she?

In that moment, the echoes of her absence reverberated through the empty space, leaving him to ponder the significance of her silence. The unanswered questions lingered in the air, heavy with uncertainty and longing. Each passing moment seemed to magnify the void she had left behind, a void that seemed to grow deeper with every heartbeat. Amidst the shadows of doubt, he searched for clarity, grappling with the weight of her indifference.
