~~~Lexi's pov~~~
I look around my childhood bedroom, still looking the same as I left it.
My parents have kept my room and my brothers the same as if we still stayed in it.
Mom said she wanted us to always feel at home even if we don't live here, although she did get me a new bedspread and sheets instead of the neon pink zebra print I had from when I was in highschool.
I shudder at my past style choices.
I check my phone and see it's almost time for everyone to come over for dinner.
I get butterflies of excitement when I think about seeing Hudson and the girls again.
One of the many perks about being home is seeing them.
I head to the bathroom to freshen up when I see a pair of large eyes looking back at me in the mirror.
I jump back in surprise when I see the giant Santa looking at me.
Yeah, that'll take some time to get used to.
I finish up just in time to hear voices downstairs, but they don't sound like Hudson or the girls.
I make my way down the stairs and hear the voices of my brother and sister in law.
"Well look who decided to grace us with her presence" My brother smirked.
I roll my eyes, but go up to hug him. "Good to see you too Max."
"I thought we'd seen you in a couple of weeks" He said.
"Yeah me too, but plans change and now I'm home."
"Well it's good to have you back sis" He said.
"Yeah, it's good to be back. By any the way, were you really unable to come up with something better than a bag of flour?" I whispered.
"No, I had to work with what I had. The flour was Liam's idea" He said.
I pull back and look at my nephew who's just as tall as his dad.
I break the hug and go over to my 15 year old nephew. "When the hell did you get so tall?" I asked him as I brought him into a hug.
He chuckles in a semi deep voice. "Over the summer Aunt Lexi" He said.
I pull back and look at his face, his boyish looks transforming into a handsome young man.
Man, I need to be around more.
Mu sister in law Kristen finds me and grins when she pulls me into a hug.
I always got along with Kristen so it'll be nice to catch up with her, especially with me being home now and them living close by.
"I missed you girl" She said.
"I missed you too."
"I missed you too Aunt Lexi!" My other nephew Parker exclaimed at my feet.
I break the hug from Kristen and pick Parker up.
He's only 5 so he's still little enough to pick up.
"I missed you too buddy."
I set him down and walk into the living room to talk with Kristen just as Hudson and the girls arrive.
I hear them talk with my parents then walk into the doorway of the living room.
Hudson greets my brother and sister-in-law and the girls rush over to me.
"Aunt Lexi!" Liv exclaimed.
