~~~Lexi's pov~~

We finish up with the dishes and join everyone playing the card game spoons.

We walk into the living room just to see Piper dive for the last spoon.

She grabs it before Kristen can.

"Ok, we want in the next round" Hudson announced.

Hudson and I take a seat next to each other around the coffee table and Piper deals with cards.

I check my cards and see I don't have any matches yet.

The cards keep moving and I keep checking to see if I have any matches, I have 2 queens.

I look out of the corner of my eye and see Liam grab a spoon then the rest follow.

Hudson sees this and reaches for the last spoon just as I do.

When we grab it out hands brush against each other and I feel an electric shock go through my arm.

What in the Wattpad is going on?

I shake it off and try to grab the spoon from his hand but he's not letting me have it.

We pull back and forth until he pulls me so hard I fall right onto of him.

He laughs. "Come on, just let me have it" He said.

I shake my head and laughed. "Never!" I yelled.

We thrash back and forth until he remembers my tickle spot on my side and reaches up with his other hand that's not holding the spoon.

"Hudson!" I shriek as I let go of the spoon.

He raises the spoon up in the air. "Victory!" He exclaimed making me shake my head

It takes me a second to realize that I'm straddling his waist.

I quickly scramble off him and he stands up and checks his phone.

"I'll be right back, I have to check this" He waved his phone around.

I nod and turn back to the game.

I grab the spoon he left behind and put it on the coffee table.

I look over at Kristen and see she's smirking at me.

We finish another round and he comes back.

I turn to him. "Everything ok?"

He puts his phone in his pocket. "Yeah, the babysitter is sick and my parents are busy so I'm gonna have to leave early from work tomorrow to get the girls" He said.

"What if I watch the girls?"

"Yeah! Can Aunt Lexi watch us? Please dad" Piper begged.

"Yeah, please daddy?" Liv asked.

"Ok, if you're ok with it then I have no problem" He said.

"Yeah, plus it gives me some time to hangout with the girls without a stinky boy around " I playfully scrunch my nose

"Well fine if you're gonna be that way" He nudges my shoulder with a smile.

"What time do they get out of school?"

"Piper gets out at 3 and Olivia gets out at 3:30" He said.

"Ok, sounds good. Want me to make dinner?"

He shakes his head. "No don't worry about that, besides it's Friday tomorrow and every Friday we get Chinese food" He said making me get hit with nostalgia.
