EVO! Grian meets his future self and not everything is as bright as it seems.

Xelqua after stepping through the end portal was expecting to appear in a strange void place rather than on a field of wheat surrounding a giant old tree.

He tried to look around but he didn't see much except wheat. He decided to walk towards the three and when he was close enough to it , he started seeing some buildings and a wide lake or river in between. A small path leading to the shore of the wheat island.

He walked the path and as he reached the water Xelqua looked for something that could transport him to the other side. He didn't find anything, for a moment he thought of taking some wood and making a boat himself but he really didn't want to destroy the beautiful tree.

As he started at the shore on the other side of the water he heard a flapping of wings. Xelqua turned to see very confused girls. She seemed strange but familiar at the same time. Her moth wings flapped nervously as they stared at each other.

"You're not my Grian. You shouldn't be here." She finally said. She oddly sounded like his sister but it wasn't possible Pearl was still in EVO.

"What?.. What are you thinking about?- HOW do you know my name?" Xelqua took a few steps back until he felt the water soaking his boots.

The girls did respond immediately, like she was wondering what to say.
"It would sound weird but... I'm Pearl and you're in the future Mr." She looked at him and Xelqua felt weird.
Very confused and lost.

"...if you really my sister than saying something she'd only know."

'Pearl's' gaze focused on the wheat fild around them.
" You were always my little brother, even if not everyone saw that back then."

" That's enough..." He said quietly. He hated those memories but know he could trust her words. Only his family know about that .

Xelqua walked closer to the future Pearl, to get a closer look at her. She didn't look much like his Pearl back in Evo. Her hair weren't dyed and her wings looked different. They were black but they shine in blues' reds' and purples'. Her eyes also looked more blue than black. She looked very different.

" Uh .. what's happening in the EVO?" Pearl asked suddenly.

" I don't know ... I'm here not there."

Pearl rolled her eyes. " What were you doing before you go here."

"We were going to get to the end." Xelqua said proudly and Pearl's expression turned into some weird mixture of hurt, sorrow and something else.

"What the fight with the dragon that bad?" Xelqua asked of of curiosity but this time Pearl didn't answered or even looked at him .

" I don't think I'm the right person to answer that. " She said finally. " I'll take you to meet someone who probably would answer that question."

Xelqua felt Pearl's arms embrace him and seconds later he was flying above the water. He was truly fascinated by the feeling of being in the air, he couldn't quite describe it. Xelqua let himself smile .

The light didn't last longer than a few seconds and soon enough Xelqua was back on solid ground but this time it looked like he was at some strange fishing village of some kind.
