Shiny duo fluff

Gem was quietly drawing in her study-art room. She could hear the birds singing outside and the hot summer wind that was flowing through her window.
It was such a beautiful day, most of her friends were probably spending it outside but she had other things to do. Maybe in the afternoon she'll see the sun set from her doc.
She started at the portrait. Those beautiful greyish blue eyes staring back at her, nearly as breathtaking as the real ones.
There was a soft knock on the door frame. Pearl leans against it.
"What doing Gemmy?"
"P.. Pearl?!" Gem quickly hid the drawing between other papers that were laying on her desk . Trying to ignore her definitely blushing face.
"You scared me! Give a warning next time you came." She turned to face Pearl.
Pearl chuckle and walk to her.
" I brought you something."
She placed a box of cookies.
"You're favourite.I backed them myself" Pearl said proudly.
Gem raised an eyebrow.
" Alright Scar helped me a little."
Gem take one cookie from the box.
" I'm surprised nothing burn in the process." She mumbled eating the cookie.
"Oh you have no faith I'm me Gem!"
The sparkly eyes looked at hers.
Gem blushed." Maybe I didn't maybe I don't , you'll never know."
Pearl peak thou Gem's shoulder, she took a one paper off her desk .
"Wha-Pearl!"
Pearl's eyes went wild and a smirk appeared on her face
"You drew me?!"
Gem tried to hide her face."Uh.. yeah.." she mumbled.
"Gem this is beautiful!" Pearl hugged her, big smile on her face and her eyes shines brighter than the night sky.
"I.. thank you...I was worried you wouldn't like it.." Gem said quietly.
"Gem.. You shouldn't have worried, you know I'll love every single drawing you make because your art comes from your amazing, beautiful and kind hear."
Gem hid her face in Pearl's arms.
"Thank you Pearl."
