Basically Bdubs and Scar are going to (their absent father )Ethos' cabin to spend the summer there(actually just two weeks). And Etho wants them to meet his boyfriend Scott... And well Etho isn't the greatest dad, Cleo wasn't to take a break and Scott suddenly became a father figure.

At first when Etho asked him if he would like to spend the summer at his cabin, Scott thought Etho was being romantic.. well he was in some Etho way.. but Scott never thought he'll end up babysitting Etho's two sons, Bdubs (the older one) and Scar( the one year younger).

After they arrived, Etho only told him, he wanted them to meet Scott and that Cleo should bring them over the next day.
And as the new day came Etho left early and Scott didn't seen him since.

When Cleo brought the kids and saw Scott and not Etho was waiting at the entrance (it was the end of the old gravely road that led to the cabin), they walked up to him and patted him on the shoulder.
" Sorry you are in this mess too." She said and gave him an apologetic smile.
Then she turned to the kids.

"Looks like Uncle Scott is going to be looking after you both. Don't stress him much m'kay?" Cleo ruffles the boys hair and kisses their forehead.

" Okay Mom!" The smaller one said with fully white hair said.
" We'll be nice." The other slightly taller smiled innocently.

Cleo rolled their eyes and looked at Scott. " If they started making any tumble, you can call me anytime and I'll pick them up."
Scott nodded. "I'm sure we'll be fine, but thanks."

Cleo and Scott met back in college and were the best of friends. After they graduated their paths split but not long after he started dating Etho and Etho told him about his ex-marriage, he sent a message to Cleo the same night and well their friendship reunited.

"So ... You know Mom?"

"Uh.. yeah we meet back in college actually and we're good friends."

The kid nodded.
"I'm Bdubs and that's my little brother Scar"

"I'm only one year younger!" Scar yelled.

"Yeah but you are still little and I have to look after you."

" That's not true!"
The brothers started yelling at each other.

"Well let's put your stuff in the cabin and then you can look around. " Scott said, he needed to change their interest in the topic or they started fighting not only using words.

The body turned to him .
"Yes! " They took their bags and ran into the cabin, Scott barely managing to catch them.

After lunch, it was just a simple soup but the boys liked it, Scott let Scar and Bdubs go to play in the woods.

Scott tried to call Etho but he didn't pick up so Scott sent him a message.

- Cleo brought your kids already.

- When you will be on your way back can you buy some potatoes, there's a few left and maybe some marshmallows for the campfire.

Scott could hear loud crying noises coming from outside. He immediately dropped what he was doing and went to check on the boys.
