IZZY
I could see his suffering. I could see how he blamed himself and I do not defend his actions, but I felt bad for him. He did wrong, he didn't had the right to say or do those things to her.
I was sure he fell asleep immediately. He looked exhausted, and he had reasons to be. His girlfriend was missing, and she was pregnant with his baby. And not just Hazel, Slash and Nikki too. He was so fucking worried about everything.
Slash was his best friend. He was our best friend. Steven knew him since they were kids. Slash was like his brother.
I wasn't that worried about Hazel, as long as she was with him, she was safe. I knew how much he cared about her, how he loved her.
And Nikki, I hoped he was fine. Unless there was some man taller than him, he should be fine. He was pretty strong and at the first sight, you wouldn't say he is that friendly, or at least that's what I thought the first time I saw him.
Anyway, Axl went to sleep and a few hours passed. In the meantime Tracii called that guy. As he was talking with him I went in my room. I needed a smoke. I opened the door and stepped out on the balcony.
Taking a cigarette and the lighter out of my pocket I sat there in silence. I wasn't thinking at something specifically, just questioning myself where could they be. Everything I hoped was that they were still in the country.
I've smoked one cigarette, two, three, I've lost count. And I would've continued to smoke if someone didn't knocked at my door. I tossed the half smoked cigarette out the balcony and walked to the door. I opened the door and Tracii was there. I got out of the way and he walked in.
"I have good news and bad news." He said sitting on the bed. "Good news, he said nobody noticed some white suspicious van. The bad news is they usually don't really search any car without a proper reason. A proper reason is if they have guns or the dog smells drugs, or some thing like that."
Wasn't that great. "Where's Axl?" he asked again.
"He's asleep." I said as I lit up another cigarette offering him one too. Of course he accepted and I gave him the lighter.
"So, he really loves her, huh?" He asked handing me the lighter.
"Yeah man, he really does. They've been together for a couple of months." I was happy that he was happy. He deserved some good in his life. "And he'll be loosing it soon. Not just because of her, but fuck man, Slash is like his brother. He is his brother."
"I'm sure it'll all be fine." He said, I don't know if he was that sure though. "I talked to Tommy for a bit."
"Yeah? What did he said?" I asked curious.
"He said he's more than sure Nikki's fine and they will be fine." Tommy was pretty positive most of the times, at least that's what I've figured out so far. It gave me some hope.
"Let's hope so." I inhaled again the smoke. "I'm gonna tell Axl when he wakes."
"Yeah..." He blew the smoke and I did the same.
NIKKI
"Three more hours..." God, I can't wait to be out of here. I took the gun out again looking at it closely. It was loaded, at least. Was this really the only way? I really didn't wanted to kill anyone.
"And then we must be out of here." Hazel said before she sneezed.
"I think you're sick." I said locking eyes with her.
"Oh, you think?" she rolled her eyes.
"You don't have to roll your eyes every single time one of us says something." Slash whispered. Maybe he was annoyed too. She rolled her eyes quite often. "Bless you..."
