Chapter 5: Mom's approval

Chapter  5

“Wow mukhang nasa good mood ata ang anak ko ngayon aa? Enjoying your job?” Mom asked as I am walking down the stairs.

“Good Morning Mom” sabi ko sabay hinalikan sya sa pisngi. Pagkatapos ay iginaya ko na siya papuntang dining table. Pag dating naming dun ay inakay ko siya paupo.

“Son? What’s so good about this day? You look happy.” Sabi niya habang naglalakad naman ako papunta dun sa kabilang part nung mesa.

“Happy? Really Mom? Maybe because you’re the first person I saw” I said then wink at her.

“Oh son pati ba naman si Mommy binobola mo? C’mon may gir friend ka na ba?” Sabi niya with a questioning look.

“Mom relax I’m just happy that I’m here with you, with Dad, with everyone. I think there’s no reason for me to feel anything but happiness.” I reach for her hand in the table. “and if there is someone or nyone that catches my attention you would be the first one to know.” I said and then smiled  sincerely at her.

Well lahat naman nang bagay na sinabi ko sakanya totoo ee. I’m very happy to be with them but maybe she’s right there really is someone that’s making my more extra ordinary.

I think you know who she was, after all she's the only girl that caught my attention big time since I get back here.

I was woken from my reminiscing thought when my Mom tapped my shoulder and said to me the words that Ive never imagined coming from her.

"You what son, I know that it's been awhile since we've spent time together and you know that I miss you much. But I also know na hindi kita pwedeng pagkait sa mga taong gusto mong maging parte nang buhay mo. And I want you to know that Mommy will always want the best for you and based on what I am seeing right now? I know your happy and I will support you all the way."

"Mom" yun lang yung tanging nasabi ko.

"I know, But you would always be my little boy." she told me.

"Thanks Mom" I said and then hugged her. I know this is weird but wy back then when I used to be a kid my Mom woould always tell that she didn't want to have a girl friend or be ever get married and that if those things would happen she will die because of lonelyness because he want her little boy to be her's alone.

Pero syempre kahit na alam ko na hindi naman talaga siya mamatay iniwasan mo pading mag girlfriend not that my Mom knows hindi naman kasi maiiwasan yun ee kahit alam ko na ayaw ni Mommy.Yes nog kagurlfriend ako ones once and could you imagne how much Iloved her para suwayin ko si Mom. Pero like every other things nagtapos din yung relasyon namin and any girls thatt came into my life afer her puro fing nalang most them nakilala ko sa L.A. Pero hindi na talaga ako sumubok pa na pumasaok sa isang relasyon dahil ayoko nang lokohn si Mommy sobrang nakaka gguilty kasi. I know some will call me Mama's boy but if loving your mom so much is the definition of that term then yes, I am a Mama's boy and Im proud of it.

Tok Tok Tok

Kumatok muna ako dun sa pintuan nung kwarto niya bago ako pumasok. Napa-ngiti ako nung naita ko siyang naka tingin sa labas nang bintana niya.

"Uy" kinalabit ko siya.

"Anong tinitignan mo dyan? May gwapo ba dun? Haha. Kung gwapo lang din naman pala ang hanap mo bakit hindika nalang tummingin sa tabi mo?" pagkatapos ay tumabi ako sakanya at tinignan yung mukha niya nang malapitan. Napaisip ako ' ano bang meron sayo at bakit ginaganito mo ko?'

"Hindi ka nanaman mamamansin, lag mo nalang ako dinededma pero sige na nga dahil pogi ako okay lang" Ano ready ka na ba? May theraphy ka pa" tumungin ako dun sa relos ko. "oh may 30 minutes+s pa tayo gusto mo maglakad-lakad?"

And then inalalayan ko na siya paabas dun sa kwarto at saka sinabing "Alam mo hindi mag tatagal liligawan na kita"
