Baron Von Strucker stood at the back of the room with... the duke who should've been upstairs celebrating his 70 years on this Earth.

Adelaide saw the two dark figures standing to the side. Very different from one another, but with a well trained eye, one could tell they were different from everyone else in the room. "I'll take out the bodyguards." She told the soldier.

Before Bucky could even comment on his confusion, the gunfire stopped and Adelaide escaped their small elevator. She tucked herself behind a table and waited for the two figures to come for her. Bucky followed behind her, heading for the duke and Strucker. One of Adelaide's targets didn't fall into the plan and ran straight for Bucky.

"This isn't hide and seek, Heidi. Come out." The male figure said. Atlas. He was a HYDRA agent injected with a generic serum, but he kept himself in high ranks with his connections and his temper was controlled by his sister, Scylla.

The widow waited until she heard his steps approaching and the moment he threw the table aside she stabbed him in the leg. He pulled back and she slid across the floor, kicking on his injured leg. When she tried to stand, he swatted her away like a fly on the wall.

When Adelaide regained herself, she stood and prepared for another immediate attack. "That's not my name." She shook her head as Atlas laughed.

When Atlas attacked, all Adelaide knew to do was avoid hits and remain out of his grip. He was short tempered, had no set fighting skills, and relied on his strength. In training she knew how to use his strength against him, but that was in a controlled environment, here she was on her own. When he went in for another punch Adelaide grabbed his wrist and pulled it under him, flipping him on his back, he quickly pulled her down with him.

Adelaide removed her gun but he crushed it in her hand and the weapon fell into shambles. He made a punch towards her face and she rolled aside, causing him to break through the cement floor with his fist.

On the other side of the room, Bucky was not fairing any better against his opponent. Scylla didn't have physical strength, but she was easily able to counteract every attack from the soldier without force. She had gotten the serum that made her see every detail, connect every dot. She was smarter than most people in the world.

While all the agents and soldiers were distracted, the duke led Strucker out through a secret door. Adelaide was distracted momentarily as she watched them escape, leaving room for Atlas to strike a blow in her back. Adelaide was thrown across the room. Bucky left Scylla and blocked Atlas from attacking Adelaide again. Adelaide took the opportunity to switch their partners and protected the soldier from Scylla.

Adelaide was not only able to overpower Scylla, but she could match her wit and brains. She backed her into a corner and drew another knife. She barely let the blade graze Scylla's hip, but to onlookers it appeared the knife was driven through her stomach.

"This was fun." Scylla whispered into Adelaide's ear.

"Sorry." When she pulled the knife away she drew a straight line through her suit, causing red to flood over the green material. When Adelaide stepped back, Scylla fell to her knees and called out for her brother. Atlas left his fight with Bucky to answer her call.

Bucky wanted to use this moment to attack them both, but Adelaide urged him towards the secret door to follow after Strucker. "No, no. We have to go." She pushed him through the door and they followed the long hallway. They ran to the door at the end of the hallway, busting into the night, where a black suburban vehicle was speeding away.

Adelaide knew they had to chase after it or get as far away from Atlas and Scylla as they could, but the moment they heard the car leaving, she reached for her phone. She found Rue's number and waited for an answer. Bucky led her to the garden where they would be safe from prying eyes.

Adelaide walked with her heels in her hands and her tail between her legs. She now needed to find Strucker and the duke before anymore secrets got out and HYDRA realized a group of rogues got too close.

"Do you remember the Romanov assassinations?" Bucky said.

"I remember everything." Adelaide said with defeat. "It was the first and only time we were out at the same time." She said with a lighter heart.

"How did it take you three shots to kill Rasputin?" Bucky laughed to himself. Adelaide shrugged, slightly uninterested in whatever conversation this was. "Probably the same way you weren't able to actually stab Scylla." He threw out like a crazy suggestion.

Adelaide stopped and huffed. Of course when he looked back he saw she wasn't seriously wounded. "She's hemophilic." Adelaide shrugged. "I figured it would slow them down, Atlas would run to her recuse... we were able to escape."

"God..." James ran his hand through his hands. "You keep playing the fool, but you know everything about Hydra."

"Thanks to Black Widow it's all over the internet." Adelaide shrugged.

"You trashed our phones. Tell me or I'm telling Rue what happened to her parents." He reached for his earpiece but Adelaide grabbed his arm with a deadly grip. He wasn't lying, and it was clear his memories were already returning.

"You can't tell anyone." She said. Adelaide's eyes made it clear that no matter what happened to James, she would keep this secret at his expense.
