I heard the door open behind me, hoping it was Kieyera because then I wouldn't have to be stuck in such an awkward situation. But no, I turn around to see who it is and an unfamiliar male comes in first with light brown hair, and a very muscular face, he looked like he was in his late 20's. I wonder who this was? Vincent or Keanan?

"Hey Vincent!" Burrell greeted. They gave each other the man hug, you know, the side high five, grab hand, pull into a hug which is more of a slap-each-others-back thing.

"Who's our newbie?" Vincent asked staring at me.

"Beverly." Burrell answered right before I did. "Kieyera said she's gonna be sticking with us for now." he explained. They exchanged a look that I thought was strange. Vincent looked back at me.

"Well, nice to meet you Beverly. I'm Vincent, 208 years old." he greeted. He grabbed my hand and kissed the top of it softly. He lived in the older times, so I guess that's how he learned manners. I smiled lightly.

"Nice to meet you." I said. He turned back to Burrell as they started blabbing on and on. A voice rang in the hallway right outside the door.

"Hey guys, the new donor is in the downstairs freezer, save it for later." a male voice said. He came in. "Oh and-" he stopped dead in his tracks when he saw me. And I froze. I knew this guy! I recognize him from last night! He was the guy who changed me in the street! My fangs bared, and I felt my anger rising, he bared his teeth too and we both hissed.

"You!" I growled.

"Glad to see the transformation went through without problems." he growled. I lunged at him, but arms grabbed me to stop me. It was Vincent and Burrell, and Nailah and Des were holding him back. Corette came in between us.

"Calm down, this is not the place to fight! Like Kieyera said!" she reasoned.

"What is he doing here?!" I said with a grunt. "He f-ing did this to me!" I yelled. I tried harder to get past them, but they were strong, even if I was a fledgling.

"I thought she was going to bring her later!" he responded.

"Keanan, you know it's not your decision. Now calm down, I can smell Kieyera coming." Vincent replied.

"Bring me here! You mean this was all a trap! To get me to become a vampire then come join your little rebellion?" I asked. I wouldn't believe that Kieyera would do that to me, she was my best friend. The door swung open and Kieyera stood in the doorway.

"What the hell is going on here?! Didn't I say no fights!" she yelled. Keana hissed once more before calming down and they released him. But they kept a hold on me, because I wasn't calm.

"Kieyera! What is going on?! Why is he here? And why are they saying you were supposed to bring me later?!" I asked ferociously.

"Bev, I knew Chance and Ronin were doing things they shouldn't. And I knew you would get hurt. So I sent Keanan, Vincent, and Burrell to change you that night. Because I wanted you to be safe. And then Chance hurt you, and I kenw I had to take you in. I just didn't want you to get hurt." she explained.

"What do you mean? What kidn of stuff have they been doing?" I asked.

"They've been killing innocent vampires because of them refusing to join their society. Take me, I foudn out what they were doing and I said I wanted out. Ronin made the call and Chance was the one who staked me. The only reason I lived was because a human I fell in love with sacrificed for me, and did some devil worship spell, and I survived. I made a vow to gather vampires who just wanted to live to help take down their evil ways." she explained.

"Chance was the one who staked you!" I gasped. She nodded. I didn't feel pain towards him because I turned my feelings for him off. But I felt pain for Kieyera, and anger towards both Chance and Ronin. They have been lying to me, and I trusted them, no wonder they didn't tell me abotu her death! I turned to Keanan who gave an expression of truth. I still hated him for turning me, I would much rather Kieyera come after me while I was still human, but I guess this was worse.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't of freaked." I apologized to everybody. They released me.

"Beverly, do you trust us?" Kieyera asked. I nodded. "Then will you join our rebellion against the Killers of Innocence?" she asked. "That's what we call them." she explained the name. I thought for a moment. Why wouldn't I trust Kieyera, I could trust ehr with my life, I may not trust these other vampires, but if anyone was going to help me get through this vampire crap it would be Kieyera. And if Ronin and Chance betrayed her, then they betrayed me, which made them the enemy.

"Yes." I answered quietly. They all nodded and went back to their business. I sat on the couch and watched TV with Corette and Burrell. Trying to rid of this insane situation.

--Keanan's POV--

I cannot believe Kieyera brought her here so soon! I just barely turned her! And she was a vampire brat who was used to being around vampires. I mean she fell in love with a half vampire who was blankly insane in the membrane, and who has a vampire datign her mother. I did all the research. She worked with the society of vampires for years helping them stop rouge vampires from doing harm. She was the worst person to choose, obviously, but why did she have to bring her along so soon?!

"Kieyera? Why so soon?" I asked her aside from everybody else. I followed her out of the room and downstairs to the kitchen.

"Don't question my motives Keanan. I am in charge. I think it's time we got her to trust us. Ronin is going to work faster this time because we're not exactly holding back. The whole reason why I had you change her was because she will be the key to winning this thing. Ronin has had too much power for my taste." she answered.

"Don't you think we're going too far?" I asked. She turned around and with lightning speed pinned me against a wall.

"Too far? Oh, going soft Keanan. Don't forget how I found you. A 45 year old vampire with all your family members dead because of you, and no one to love you. Nowhere to go, no principles to follow. And what did I do? Give you a place to stay, and give you a reason to live. We are going to own the vampire world." she said into my face.

"How?" I asked.

"First we get rid of the worlds top Vampire Correction Society. Second, we take the potentially most powerful vampire to ever be in existence, Chance. Then we take over the whole vampire race with just him, and once we do that, we won't have anything holding us back from feeding on whoever we want." she explained. She released me.

"How is Chance the most powerful vampire? He's only half vampire." I asked.

"Exactly! Because he was born half and half, he was never turned. He has secret gifts, secret blood. His blood contains all the power you could ever want! Vampires fear him, because to vampires, his blood is fatal! But healing to humans. Use it against vampires, and we rule over the world. Get it?" she explained.

"Ok. Where does that Beverly chick come into this?" I asked. She sighed in frustration.

"So many questions. Isn't it obvious! Chance is in love with Bev, no matter what he tells himself! He will come after her! She's our bait, and also since he pronounced his love for her, their eternally linked in some way." she answered.

"Imprinted." I realized. "But, that would mean she carries some of his powers. But not all." I was putting all the pieces together. She nodded with a devilish grin on her face.

"Exactly. She may not have the blood we need to overcome the royals, but she will have the power to help us get past our obstacles." she explained.

"What do you need me to do to help her gain trust in us?" I asked. She looked away.

"Just be friends with her, I still love her like a sister, she only trusts me. She needs to trust us all. Including you."

"But she hates me." I stated. She gave me a little flirty smile.

"I know you Keanan, you can change that easy." she said flirtatiously. She bumbed our hips together causing me to go to the side. "Get going." she instructed. I nodded headign to the door.

"On it, boss." I teased. Oh, it's time to put on my flirt! Oh yeah! Even though this girl revolted me, I would find a way to act like I like her...this is going to be fun.
