I don't know what just happened, but I think Lufian just instructed me to love him. Where did that come from? I don't know how to react, exactly. I mean, this whole situation just got a million times bigger. I already have so many issues to deal with, I do not want to bring Ian into this. I have this rebellion thing to deal with, the Chance issue, the royals possibly ready to kill me for my involvement, yadda yadda yadda! Why! Why does this all have to mess with my own self peace, I mean dang!

 "I-I don't know w-what to say." I stuttered.

"Say yes." he stated.

"I don't even know you."

"Ah, but I know you." he responded. What? I am so confused. "Beverly, are you familiar with the royals?" he asked. I shook my head. "Well, they consist of six people. Sabelle, Jabir, Panyin, Taksony, Edric, and Malpirgi. Sabelle being the head of the six mainly, Jabir being the peacemaker, Panyin the tormented damaged one with a past, Taksony the young and wild one, Edric being the father of someone very special, and Malpirgi, the last living ancient on earth." he explained. Last living ancient! I've heard about the ancients when I worked for Ronin, how they were the first living vampires, and how they all killed each other off, except one. But he never told me who they were, or the one who survived, now I know.

"Malpirgi?" I asked. What an unusual name.

"Yes, she is seen as the youngest, most quiet, shy, and weakest. But truly she is the oldest, yes quiet, wisest, and strongest. They just keep her identity secret, no one knows why." he answered.

"So what does she have to do with me?" I asked.

"She's been watching you. Very closely." he stated.

"Since when?"

"Since you were born. Malpirgi was known for being the spell master out of her brothers and sisters. She is eternally linked to the spirits in the next life, and she saw that you were worth something special. She asked the spirits for an answer, an answer to all the chaos that has occurred through out vampire history, and what happens still. They showed her an image of you, as a child, growing up, going through your entire life. You falling in love with Chance, imprinted on, being turned into a vampire, going through all you have already been through, and of what you will come to experience. She has seen your entire life. Even the moment when our world will need you most. She keeps it to herself of course, the royals don't even know that she has been watching you int he first place. They don't even know you exist. Only Malpirgi." he explained. I stood there in shock, what the hell?!

"So what is this Malpirgi girl expecting me to do something loyal and brave, or whatever?" I asked. He shook his head.

"Right now, she's just letting fate do it's job."

"Uh huh. Well how do you know all of this?" I asked. He shot me the smile, but I was too full of thoughts to let it affect me.

"I'm related to her." he answered. Huh?!

"Related to her, how?" I asked.

"She's my mother." he replied. I stood up, running my hand through my hair. Holy Hannah! This was all getting way too complicated! How am I supposed to deal with this on top of everything else? I mean I have way too much on my plate, only to find out the last living ancient has been watching me since I was born, and already knows where this will all end?! Can things get any worse?!
