--Malpirgi's POV--
I have lived on this Earth for thousands of years. I have watched it grow and change, grow and change. The styles tht this world has gone through are phenominal. And only I have seen them all. All the rest of my famly are dead. The family of the Ancients. Since vampires are immortal, the Ancients are supposed to be the ultimate immortals. Nothing can kill them, excep by their own hands. My family killled each other, and I made it out alive. Of course I was upset, I had seven brothers and sisters. I was close to some of them. And now I am left alone. A group of vampires in the dark ages decided it wasn't good to have every vamprie just rogue, so they formed the Royals. None of them are related, but they still are very close. These royalshave been together since then, none die because of the many skills they have developed. Vampires fear the power of the royals. The only thing the royals fear is the half blood. Which we all know who that is. Ever since he was born he has been under our watch, we made sure he was on the right side. Chance, the son of one of our members, Edric. He didn't mean to gve birth to the half blood, but since he did, it was required that he stay out of Chances life.
I was sitting in my regular chair in the 'throne' room. It's more of a dark ballroom they altered. They placed me in the royals because I was the last living ancient, they needed someone who knew the world the best to help enforce laws, and it was better because I looked nothing like an ancient. The large doors opened as the final member of the royals arrived, sitting down. I was sitting on the farthest chair in the corner, with Edric next to me, then Taksony, Sabelle, Jabir, and Panyin. We sat in a slitghtly round half circle. We waited as our see-er came in to tell us news.
"The rebellion is on it's way." the see-er said.
"I don't see the urgency in this? We can easily stop them from their plans." Sabelle said. Sabelle was one of our older royals, who was the 'woman' in power. I was the real leader, but we made a decision to keep me a secret.
"They're bringing the half blood." the see-er finished. Everyone froze except I, I never was one to be shocked of anything, calm and controlled.
"He's not on there side, is he not?" Jabir asked. Jabir was the comforter, he wanted people to keep calm, so he asked these kind of questions to make people feel better. He and I always got along when it came to that subject.
"I don't believe so, they seem to be dragging him along." the see-er answered. They relaxed.
"How long do we have?" Taksony asked. Taksony was the youngest one, therefore the wildest. He was more of a fighter than one of us, but he fit in well anyhow.
"A day at most." the see-er answered.
"Thank you, that will be all." Sabelle said. The see-er bowed and walekd out of the room. We waited until the doors were closed to speak.
"I knew we shouldn't have let him live, it was all just a big mistake. I told you he would be used against us someday." Panyin responded. Panyin was a twin when she was turned, and she killed her own twin because of thirst. Ever since then she beat herself up about it, making her bitter in heart. She was the one people hated the most because of her negativity.
"Maybe it won't be what we think it is, maybe he has a plan to get out of it." Edric said. Chance's father, always protecting him. We wanted to kill Chance so we wouldn't have the possibility of him being used against us, but Edric convinced them to give him a chance.
