He wakes up.

He swiftly puts on his pants and leaves the room for me to get dressed.

I take my phone and check the time.
It's 07:26.
He's drinking champagne at 7 in the morning???

Matome: "Anyways, Lebonza o kae? I haven't seen her since she arrived."

Kgomotso: "I don't know. She was supposed to be back after she dropped her sister and the friend off."

Matome: "But her sister and the friend are the only ones who came back, Motso."

Silence.

Kgomotso: "He-eh."

No! I shouldn't be thinking about the negatives right now!

Matome: "Breathe, cuz. Where's her man?"

Kgomotso: "He said he was going to be in Soweto for the weekend."

Matome: "Look, calm down. Ke sure she went somewhere--"

He was interrupted by a sound coming from downstairs.
I know this house very well to know that the sound came from downstairs.

Kgomotso: "Who is it?"

Matome: "Ey! You love panicking too much, Motso. What if it's the kids?"

Kgomotso: "Please go check."

Matome: "Fine."

He leaves my bed and goes downstairs.
It's first dead quiet and then the silence is accompanies by some chatters in the room.
Okay... there's nothing to worry about.
