AMANDA

"Out of my car, now." Sihle says once he parks by the gate.

I've never seen this side of Sihle in my life.
How could he just do that? How could he just end us like that???
Ten flipping years???
No! I'm protesting. This guy isn't thinking straight!

Amanda: "No." I reply. Sternly. Without the fear of him retaliating.

He can switch up sometimes. No. He's never laid a hand on me. He would never, no matter how much I test him or upset him. I'm the mother of his child. He would never do such.

Sihle: "Ntombi." He warns.

His eyes are full of rage!
Okay, maybe the muthi thing was a mistake but I was desperate! I don't want this guy to leave over some calling!

Amanda: "Okay fine, Sihle! I won't do it. I won't take the calling." I manage to say under my shattered breaths.

I know my make-up looks terrible from this crying.
This man down-right embarrassed me in front of his family and our daughter. Our child!

Sihle: "I don't want to hear it! I don't want to hear it, Ntombi! You tried to bewitch me! And you really expect me to be fine with that?!"

Amanda: "Kodwa ingane yethu--"

Sihle: "Gcinile has got nothing to do with this!" He abruptly says pointing his finger at me. "Don't you dare bring my daughter into this!"

Amanda: "Noxolo is my child too!"

It becomes silent in this Polo and my cries have gone quiet too.
The silence is tense, like he can just quickly snap and do something unimaginable.
I didn't think that I would get busted that quick.
Yoh Simphiwe ruined things for me! Damn him!

He's scaring me. A lot. His silence is scaring me. I've never ever seen Sihle like this in my life.
Ever!

Sihle: "Ntombi Amanda Vilakazi. Leave this car or else I'll drag you out." He sternly, yet calmy says.

I've never been so scared. Gosh, he could actually do it.

Amanda: "Sihle--"

He turns his head to me in just a split second and all I see are eyes full of rage!
They're red.
This man is going to kill me before he drags me out!

KGOMOTSO

He's come to see me again.
He doesn't look so great.
We're seated outside by the lapa where we were last night, having a mocktail which Mo made after I told him he was coming.
She's grown to adore Simphiwe so much, as well as Tumelo and Titi which left me surprised.
Tlhalefo… well, you know his story by now.

But my man doesn't look so great.

Kgomotso: "Something looks like it's eating you." I finally point out after he's been here for an hour and I've been trying to avoid this conversation.

He's been zoning out a lot while we were talking and I just thought I'd give it time until I saw that whatever he's going through needs to be attended to.

He scratches his head and it then leads to a great sigh.

Simphiwe: "uBafo. He, uhm..." He clears his throat. "Last night when I came back home, I walked in on Amanda and... she was rubbing muthi on his back, almost like bewitching him and saying that he will love her and..."

My eyes grow wider at each word until they can't anymore.
What????
Amanda??

Kgomotso: "Babe..."
