KGOMOTSO

The last time I cried was when Mahlodi broke the devasting news to me.
Since then I had no time to cry because I had to help out with the funeral arrangements and making sure I gave my father a proper send-off.
I was once in that state - the state my mother is in.
I know pain. I know that feeling.
I woke up at 5AM getting Lefika and Nkanyezi.
Simphiwe and the Hadebes and Mnisis came all the way to Limpopo too. Sihle also came.
Lebone and Rele came too and my girls also pulled through.

It's hitting me.
Now as I'm getting dressed in this black dress, it hits me that my father has died and I had no time to cry.
Oh my word!
I'm breaking down.

I suddenly feel someone hugging me. It's Matome.

Matome: "Go tla loka sesi."

When? When will it ever get better?

I can't bare the pain of looking at my mother in this state.
They call her up to speak and I accompany her.

As we walk, we hear sudden crying.
I turn around it's someone I've never seen before.
She's dressed dramatically and her cries are just as dramatic.

"Robert, moratuwa!"

Huh???

I need someone to escort her our because what the hell did she just say about my father???
WTF!!!!

"I can't believe you're gone, my love!"

"Somebody get her out, please!" Mahlodi says.

Rele and Simphiwe go to her and she stops them. She leaves and she is followed by two other girls that look Tlhalefo's age.
What the hell was that?

The funeral went well despite that dramatic scene.
My mother is currently resting. I was once there so I told everyone to not disturb her.

I'm seated in the marquee with Simphiwe and Rele and Lebone eating funeral food my mother's catering company made.

"That woman is a doctor." Rele suddenly says.

Who is he talking about?

Relebogile: "That dramatic woman? She's a doctor." He reveals after seeing the confusion on my face.

One thing I'll never understand is how Relebogile gets information that fast.

Lebone: "Do you know her?"

Relebogile: "No but I spoke to her after the burial."

Kgomotso: "So she didn't leave? Where is she?"

I want to speak to her.

Relebogile: "She told me she was headed to the BnB."

Turfloop has got a lot of those. Where the heck am I gonna find her?

Kgomotso: "Please take us there. I want to talk to her and ask her what the heck that was about."

The four of us stand up and leave.

After that dreading drive we finally find the place.
Rele is confident that this is the place.
I just want to talk to that woman.

We find them right outside and she's still wearing those dramatic clothes like she's a slay queen.
It's her and those two girls from earlier.

"Nka le thusa?" She asks.

Kgomotso: "Who are you?" I ask.

"KG, KG. Calm down, skeem."

No!
I'm not calming down until I get answers!
