As the night drew to a close, Catnap and Dogday curled up together beneath the soft glow of the lights. The date had been perfect in its simplicity—a quiet night in the hidden garden, just the two of them, sharing stories, laughter, and finally, their first kiss.
Dogday rested his head against Catnap's, his heart full of warmth and contentment. "I think this is the best date I've ever been on," he murmured sleepily.
Catnap chuckled softly, his eyes half-closed. "It's the only date you've been on."
"Still counts," Dogday replied with a grin.
They fell asleep together, wrapped in each other's warmth, knowing that this was just the beginning of something even more special. From now on, they would face every challenge and adventure as a couple—stronger together, with a love that had grown from friendship, into something deeper, and more beautiful.
