A few days later, Dogday came bounding up to Catnap with an excited glint in his eyes. "Come with me! I found something amazing!"

Catnap raised an eyebrow but followed without question. Dogday led him through winding factory halls and up a hidden staircase Catnap hadn't even known existed. When they finally emerged onto the rooftop, Catnap froze, his breath catching in his throat.

The night sky stretched out above them, a sea of stars twinkling against the inky blackness. The city lights in the distance added a faint glow, but up here, it felt like they were in another world.

"Wow," Catnap said, his voice soft.

"Right?" Dogday said, his tail wagging furiously. "I found this spot a while ago, but I wanted to wait to share it with you."

Catnap turned to look at him, a small smile playing on his lips. "You're full of surprises."

Dogday grinned, his golden eyes reflecting the starlight. "Only for you."

They sat down together, the cool night air wrapping around them. Dogday lay back, gazing up at the stars with a dreamy expression. Catnap followed suit, letting himself relax beside him.

"You ever think about how big the universe is?" Dogday asked, his voice filled with wonder.

"Sometimes," Catnap replied. "But I don't dwell on it. Too much to think about."

Dogday chuckled. "Figures you'd say that." He turned his head to look at Catnap, his expression softening. "But you're kind of my whole universe, you know."

Catnap's ears flicked back, his cheeks heating at the words. "You're such a dork."

"And you love it," Dogday said with a playful grin.

Catnap rolled his eyes but didn't deny it. Instead, he reached out, his paw resting lightly on Dogday's. It was a small gesture, but it carried a weight of meaning that didn't need to be spoken.

As the stars twinkled above them, Catnap and Dogday stayed close, their bond growing stronger with every shared moment.
