Joker put on his skates again and slid over to where the rest of the gang was standing.
"Heyy, Miah." Greeted Jervis, bending down to tie a shoe lace.
"Sorry guys, I was in the restroom." Joker smiled, as though nothing had happened. "Where's Selena?"
"She went with Edward and Oswald to buy food, or something." Said Harley.
"What?" Joker almost yelled. Everyone jumped.
"Jeez, kid, they're at the freaking concession stand over there." Scarecrow pointed to the left.

Joker groaned and sliced his foot into Jonathan's shin.
"OW!" He shouted, and bent over to hold his bleeding leg. Joker giggled and skated away, almost losing his balance.
He heard the other members of the Tree laugh.
The Joker pulled off his skates again (what a drag) and laced up his boots to go find his friends and that cat girl trash.

He found Edward buying Oswald a cup of hot chocolate, and a cake pop.
"Wow, score." Joker said, coming up behind them.
"Are you okay?" Oswald asked, turning around as Ed paid.
"Oh yeah, I'm fine. Where's Selena?" Joker asked, his tone darkening.
"Um, I don't know." Oswald said.
Suddenly Selena ran past them, grabbing the food out of Penguin's hands, and disappearing with it.

"HEY!" Screamed Oswald. "Give it back, Selena!"
"She's gone." Joker sighed, knowing he'd missed his chance to knock some sense into her.
"She took my food!" Penguin was not happy at all. Ed glared, annoyed. "Excuse me." He asked the person behind the counter. "May I get a refund?"

"Here. Take another one." The girl smiled kindly at them, handing Edward a strawberry cake pop and another cup of hot cocoa.
"Thank you." Nygma said, and handed them to Oswald.
"Wow, she gave me another one??" He asked, shocked. "That's never happened before."
"Stupid Selena." Edward hissed. "What has gotten into her today?"
They walked away from the stand.

"You know we'll never find her." Joker growled. "I should have punched her when I had the chance."
"Definitely." Oswald agreed, taking a bite out of his cake pop. "She's really annoying."
"She's pissing me off." Riddler rolled his eyes.
"Have you seen Bruce? Did you forgive him?" Asked Ozzie.
"I guess I forgive him. I'm more mad at Selena than him. Also I'm pretty pissed that I started crying in front of you. I'm sorry." Joker told them, shoving his hands deep in his pockets.

"Aw, don't be sorry." Oswald side hugged him. "Can you hold my drink please?"
Joker took it from him.
"Anyways, if you guys see him before I do, just tell him that I hated being held in the air." Joker said, letting the hot chocolate cup warm up his hands.
"We could tell." Said Enigma.

"Bruh." Joker said. "I bet Bruce is still in the bathroom."
"Maybe." Said Riddler. "Or perhaps he is walking towards us right now."
Joker squinted. It was true. Bruce waved.
"Really." Said Oswald.
"Hey." Bruce said to them. "You bought coffee?"

"It's hot chocolate." Said Penguin, still not happy with Bruce. "Thanks so much for kissing Selena. Gross."
"And I hate being left hanging in the air, FYI." Joker said, holding eye contact.
"Oh, I didn't realize that. Sorry." Bruce said, probably embarrassed.
"Okay." Joker accepted it and shrugged, keeping a positive facade.

"Where's Selena?" Asked Bruce, looking around.
"She stole Oswald's food, then ran off." Edward said darkly. "Luckily the lady behind the counter gave us another order."
"Stupid bitch." Cussed Oswald, obviously ticked off.
"I'm going to go make fun of Jervis." Joker said, and started walking back to the rink.
"Wait, let's all go." Said Bruce, feeling bad.
"Hah, you wanna make fun of Jervis?" Laughed Joker.

"No, I just want to be by you." Bruce said, offering him a smile. Joker never turned down a smile, and he easily threw one back at him.
"So are you all fine now?" Interrupted Nygma.
"Yeah, we're fine." Joker said, and walked back to the rink.
Poison Ivy had arrived by that time, and she and Harley Quinn were skating around in circles together, chatting each other up.
Joker saw how in love that Harley looked, and he noticed that same fire in Ivy's eyes. They were meant for each other.
