Chapter 4

That night you dreamt about Kai. You were 15 again and were lying on your back garden in a sunny summer day. He was holding your hand as you looked at the shapes the clouds were making. Then he leaned; your faces inches apart. He smiled sweetly as he stroked your cheek gently. The sun even seemed brighter and warmer when Kai smiled. The sunrays were caressing his golden skin softly, giving him the appearance of a God. "I love you", he whispered. His lips were getting closer, barely touching yours. You could almost taste him...

"Fuck!", you cursed as you woke up suddenly. Your heart was beating fast and you were almost panting. You were so angry but you didn't know if it was because Kai dared to appear in your dream or because it ended before he could kiss you. That bastard; just one kiss and he already got to make you lose your mind. You couldn't allow that. That situation couldn't affect you. He was just helping you to get what you wanted. You couldn't fall for him again. Once was enough; you fell for him and he hurt you hard. You didn't want to go through that again. But where there was love, there is always something left. Despite what Kai did to you and was still doing, you couldn't really hate him. Something inside your heart didn't allow you. Wait, no, no, no, no. What were you thinking about? No way. He wasn't going to trick you again.

You couldn't get to sleep again after your dream and went to school zombie-like. You were in your locker, getting tiredly your books when Kyungsoo got in sight. He was in his own locker talking with Kai. You couldn't see Kai's face since he was leaned towards Kyungsoo. Neither is it that you wanted to see him... Gosh, Kyungsoo was so cute. He was laughing at something that bastard of Kai said. You could even hear his sweet laughter from where you were, causing you to giggle stupidly. As he moved, Kai's face appeared in front of you and the energy in the place seemed to change. His hair was styled into a controlled mess. Why does he look so sexy? All your senses were hyperaware of him. Your eyes lingered in his lips. Those lips... They'd feel so good on yours, on your body... Gosh, just focus! You noticed Kai was looking at you and you quickly averted your eyes from him. But your reflexes played a dirty trick on you and you hit your forehead with your locker's door. You swore Kai was smirking when you ran away embarrassed. What was happening to you? You were allowing Kai to mess around with your feelings. He surely knew how to play that game. But you needed to stay focused; it was Kyungsoo the only one allowed to be in your mind.

The bump in your forehead still hurt when you walked to E.P. class. You didn't feel like going since Kai was going to be there and Subin didn't go to school that day, so you'd have nobody to cover you. You had to divide in groups of three people for a game. Before you could gather your courage to ask Kyungsoo to be in your group, he beat you to it and asked you first. You were so excited, even when Kai was in your group too. But your excitement faded soon. Every time you and Kyungsoo did something together, Kai interposed between you both. He looked more like a member of a rival group that one from yours.

You were so angry you couldn't talk with Kyungsoo during the whole class that you waited for Kai outside the boy's changing room. Everyone left first and he was the only one remained. Not thinking twice, you got into the room. Kai was in the lockers; a towel wrapped around his body, his chest bare.

"What do you think you're doing?", you blurted out.

"Shouldn't I ask you that? This is the boy's changing room, didn't you know?", he said.

"You were supposed to help me with Kyungsoo. Why did you act like an asshole? I couldn't even talk with him", you shouted. His cocky face turned into annoyance.

In an instant, he pushed you against the lockers and invaded your space. He placed his hands against the locker doors on both sides of your head as he looked at you furiously. You suddenly forgot how to breathe.
