Chapter 5

Your heart didn't seem like working again as you stood stupidly in front of Kyungsoo, unable to say anything. Why, from all places in the world, was he there? And why life had decided that you had to meet him when you were with Kai? Everything was simply perfect! He surely saw the picture of you and Kai in the changing room. And Kai with just a towel around his waist, to make matters worse. He was going to think that you were a whore as everyone else and then everything will be over for you two. Wasn't life beautiful? Kai was the one who finally broke the silence.

"Oh, you're here too? I came to buy some things for my mother and I found her here too", he said.

"So everything is fine between you both? I heard some rumors", Kyungsoo said.

"That was just a misunderstanding but everything is solved now", Kai replied. His voice was calm but you could see how his fingers played with his keys nervously.

"And why are you here?", you asked, trying to change the subject.

"There's a specialized shop for food here. It's the only place where you can buy ingredients from other countries", he explained.

"Oh you like cooking?", you asked excited. It was something that really suited him. Cooking was a plus.

"Yes, it's my biggest hobby", he smiled. "And do you like cooking?", he asked.

"Yes, I love it. And I'm really good at it", you lied. You didn't know why you lied but somehow you needed to please Kyungsoo no matter how, even when what you said wasn't true. Kai coughed slightly at your words. You almost forgot he was there.

"I'd like to try some of your cooking one day", Kyungsoo said.

"I'd like that too", you smiled.

"What about tomorrow? We can have dinner", he suddenly said. You panicked inside but tried with all your strength that it didn't show up.

"S-sure", you muttered. You cursed your stupid mouth. Why did you lied, you stupid babbler mouth?

"Great! I'm in a rush so I have to leave now but see you tomorrow, ok?", he smiled. You just nodded as you watched him leaving; terror covered your eyes. Alright, you just needed to calm down. You had no idea about cooking but you had a date with Kyungsoo! In your house; at night. Ok, you definitely had to calm down.

"Congratulations", Kai said, faking enthusiasm. "His face is going to be epic when he finds out you actually lied", he said.

"At least I have a date. And without your help. I did it all by myself", you said proudly.

"You did nothing. He said it all and you just agreed like a fool", he replied.

"Or maybe you're jealous because the student surpassed the teacher", you said cockily. Alright, maybe you were bluffing more than you should but you had a date with Kyungsoo. You had every right to it.

"Whatever", he said badly. "We still have time to watch a movie...", he began.

"Oh no, no, no", you cut him off. "We have to go to my house to practice", you replied.

"Practice for what?", he asked.

"For my date with Kyungsoo, obviously", you replied.

As soon as you got into your house, you ran to your room. You ran. Kai spent like five minutes to go upstairs.

"Ok... You now, I was thinking...", you began nervously. Kai sighed, bore.

"Just spit it out", he blurted out.

"Well... He said to meet at night. Wh-what do you think he plans to do? I mean... Is he expecting something?", you finally asked.

"How would I know?", he asked suddenly annoyed.
