When Jongin was at ease and comfortable, he was a cutie. He was playing with his little cousin and her friend as if he was a kid himself and laughing hysterically. He was such a dork, always joking around with that perfect smile that had the power to melt you plastered on his face. It was strange but there were moments when you felt as if everything was the same with him, as if nothing ever happened between you both. But obviously things changed. Every time your eyes met, you couldn't help but blushing at the thought of what you shared the previous night. You didn't know what possessed you to do such thing; it was something you hadn't done before. Your body was out of control and you weren't able to think properly. You could only focus on the intense pleasure Jongin was making you feel. Although you didn't know what made you do that, you were sure about something: that couldn't happen again. Not only because you were going to hurt Kyungsoo and Subin - well, maybe Subin deserved it since she always used boys that way. Wait, no! You couldn't think like that about your friend! - but also because you couldn't risk your friendship with Jongin. Now that things between you were starting, you weren't going to do anything to ruin it. When your friendship with Jongin ended, you felt empty inside. You were so lonely, no matter how many people you were surrounded by; simply because he was a part of you. You needed to do things right and don't ruin anything. You just hoped that was real and not some kind of trick. But he couldn't fake his character, right? The way he was acting when with you was the real Jongin. When his little cousin left, you decided it was time for you to leave as well.

"Did you have a good time?", Jongin asked shyly.

"Yes, I really did", you smiled. "My house is so quiet that I forget sometimes how noise sounds", you laughed.

"Well, you don't have to be alone anymore", Jongin replied. His eyes were sweet as he looked at you.

"See you", you smiled as you opened the door to leave.

"Wait, honey", Jongin's mother said, making you to turn. "I've been talking to your mother", she said as she looked at Jongin and you and smiled. Perfect, your mother obviously told her that she saw you kissing. "She told me that she works extra hours in summer", she said. You nodded. Your mother was always working. Since your father died, she threw herself into work to stop thinking and reduce his sorrow but it was too much in summer; you barely were able to see her. Was it because your father died in summer? But you couldn't blame her. It'd been 10 years since your father's death and it was still so painful. Just imagine losing the love of your live; that must increase the sorrow ten times.

"You know that we always spend summer in our lake house", she continued. Of course you knew, it was like your house... well, after your own house and Jongin's. "Why don't you come this summer as you always used to do?", she asked.

"I don't know", you replied dubious as you looked at Jongin.

"Come on. Just like the old times", he smiled. Oh Gosh, how couldn't you say no to that smile? It was your weakness.

"Alright", you replied.

"Perfect", Jongin's mother smiled.

It surprised you to find Jongin's outside your door the next morning. He was wearing a basic black short-sleeve t-shirt, sweatpants and flip-flops. How something so simple could suit him so perfectly? You had to spend so much time looking for the best outfit when you were sure he just grabbed the first thing he could find and still look like a Greek god. That kind of people was irritating. Before you could say anything, Jongin broke the silence.

"Wanna go to the video store and watch a movie?", he asked.

"Sure", you replied excited. You used to spend hours in the video store. Jin was a worker there who thought that was a playboy when he actually was a total loser. You liked to spy on him and watch as every girl rejected him. Although thinking carefully, maybe that could be the cause why you were so bad at flirting, because that boy was your mentor. That didn't seem to affect Jongin though. But for your dismay, Jin didn't seem to work there anymore. Instead, there was a girl who obviously thought that chewing gum as if her jaw was dislocated and making the most disgusting sound while doing it was the best way to attract customers.
