The few times you met Kyungsoo and his father before school started again you both ignored each other. He looked calmer and didn't say anything about what happened in your bedroom that night. However, you couldn't stop thinking about what he said. You couldn't help but thinking that Jongin was right. Kyungsoo said you'd never been the one for him. Did he do it because of Jongin then? Was he worried because he thought you were a threat for his friendship with Jongin? Maybe that was why he asked you out, to get you away from Jongin. Or was there somebody else? You didn't know what to think and you didn't say anything to Jongin; you didn't tell him what Kyungsoo said in your bedroom or your suspects about that. Jongin and Kyungsoo used to be good friends and that friendship finished because of you. You didn't want to complicate things more between them. Besides, it was Kyungsoo's place to say whatever he wanted to, not yours.

"Are you ready?", Jongin asked you as you got into his car. It was your first day of school and you were so nervous. It was the beginning of something new for you. You and Jongin used to be enemies and now you'd come back to school as a couple. You didn't care much about the rumors but you didn't know how you were going to be able to face Kyungsoo and Subin. You need to have a cordial treatment with Kyungsoo because of your mother relationship but Subin was another story. You had the feeling that she wasn't going to give up so easily about Jongin and you knew she was capable of everything. But you had Jongin and you were sure that you could go through everything with him. It was scary how much you relied on him now. You didn't know what you'd do without him. You sighed deeply and nodded.

"I'm ready", you replied.

"Alright, baby girl. Let's go", he smiled as he started the engine.

As you imagined, as soon as you got into your school holding hands with Jongin, all eyes were on you both. People whispered and pointed at you. Some were openly rude and talked louder than necessary. But every time you could feel bad, Jongin's hand tightened yours and calmed you down. But what surprised you the most was Kyungsoo and Subin. Kyungsoo was still ignoring you, which was perfectly right, but so did Subin as well. They were together all the time. It seemed they became friends. Maybe you were the reason of that; the hate they felt for you could have joined them together but who knows? Maybe Kyungsoo was talking about her when he said you weren't the one. But it was weird. If Kyungsoo liked Subin, why did he ask you out instead of asking her? You didn't understand boys but it didn't make any sense. But you were sure it was because of Subin or Jongin; it just could be one of them. As weird as it was to see them together, they weren't bothering you so it was fine. Despite the whispers and laughter, your first week was quite calm. Everyone left you and Jongin alone; maybe because people still respected him a lot.

"Hi, honey", your mother greeted you when you arrived home after school that Friday. She kept her promise and she was working less and staying at home more. It was great because it felt like she was your mother again; the happy and loving mom she was before your father died. You knew his change was because of Kyungsoo's father and you didn't want to ruin that. No matter what happened and was still happening between you and Kyungsoo, you needed to make things work with him for your mother's happiness.

"Hi, mom", you said back.

"Minsoo and Kyungsoo are coming tonight", she said.

"Ok", you replied.

"They'll stay here for the weekend", she said quietly.

"What?", you asked. You didn't mean to sound rude; it just surprised you.

"Please, honey. I'd like we all could get to know each other better. Minsoo and his son could come to live with us one day and I need to know if that would work", she said.
