Chapter 3

You and Kai agreed to meet that Sunday. Your mother had an extra shift at the hospital and Kai's parent would be on a wedding until late, so nobody was going to bother you. You were still mad at Kai after he pushed you to the swimming pool in Suho's party but the sooner you started the better. Your war with Kai was still supposed to be on; your agreement would affect that at all. Kai was still the devil and your worst enemy and that would be what everyone in school was going to believe. Never in the world had you wanted to be related with that prick. Summer holidays were about to start and then you'll only have one year until you left for college. It might sound like enough of time to be able to win somebody's heart but your flirting skills were so poor that it wouldn't work even if you had all the time in the world. You were a total loser; you didn't know anything about boys and flirting and you'd have to work hard to get what you wanted. You didn't want to admit it but Kai was your only solution. He was experiences and he knew you very well. Besides, despite his pranks and all the time that passed by since your friendship broke, you still felt comfortable with him to talk about certain things. Life was a bitch. You weren't able to talk about boys or sex with Subin (not to mention your mother; that never crossed your mind) but you felt fine with Kai. You always felt comfortable to talk about everything with him. And after all what happened, you felt in your heart it was still the same. Only if he wasn't such a bastard... Half an hour before your meeting with Kai you had second thoughts. What if you regretted it? What if that was a trap? He agreed really fast. He was an asshole. Maybe he just said 'yes' to make you trust him and then make fun of you. You'll become the joke of the school... again. Everybody would laugh at how desperate you were to look for Kai's help. And Kyungsoo... You'd probably lose the opportunity to be with him forever. You were about to call Kai and cancel everything when the doorbell rang.

"What are you doing here?", you asked annoyed when you opened the door to Kai.

"Wasn't I supposed to come?", he said as he got into the house, not even looking at you.

"But we agreed to meet at five", you said.

"I was bored and I only came 15 minutes earlier", he replied. "What? Were you doing something you didn't want me to see?", he asked cockily. You cursed him internally and breathed deeply.

"Should we start?", you asked with bad manners.

"You should treat me better, I'm here to help you", he replied. "Should we go to your bedroom? We'll be more comfortable there", he smirked. You got nervous as you got into your bedroom. It'd been a long since the last time Kai was there. It was strange to see him there again; his eyes looking over every corner.

"It didn't change. It still looks like a 10-year-old girl's bedroom", he said. Your blood was boiling but you decided to not pay attention to his comment. 'Calm down. I know you feel the urge to kill him but you need to control yourself', you said internally as you faked a smile.

"Ok. Can we start? I prepared a few questions", you said as you took a notebook and a pen from you bedside table.

"Sure", he replied disinterested as he sat in your bed.

"Right... What type of girl does Kyungsoo like?", you asked. Kai looked at you and lift an eyebrow.

"What? Did I lose anything? I'm here to help you to get experience, not to settle you a date with Kyungsoo", he said annoyed. But he was helping you to get experience to get Kyungsoo! It was the same!

"Alright, next question. What kind of clothes does Kyung... boys like?", you asked. He looked at you from top to bottom.

"Not the kind of clothes you wear", he simply replied.

"Fine", you murmured harashly as you wrote on your notepad 'Change wardrobe.' He was so useful..."I guess boys like girl who are fit. I should work out then", you said most to yourself.
