"That doesn't even make sense," Janet, my project partner, stated, "There's literally no proof to back that up." She had been arguing with our other project partner, Jackson, on whether the earth was flat or not.
"There's no proof to prove I'm wrong either," Jackson argued, grinning seeing the irritated expression arise on her face.
"Are you stupid?" She asked him, "The earth is a sphere, and in every single image of said earth, it is a sphere. I promise you, the likelihood of you finding one that's flat is unlikely."
As they bickered back and forth, I continued to do research on Shakespeare and his influence on English Literature. Right. We were in English, and they were bickering about Science. Truthfully, Jackson was just trolling Janet, and though obvious, Janet just had this overwhelming need to correct him.
"Not to interrupt this very important and intellectual debate," I interrupted, looking up from my laptop screen, "But can you guys focus in? This is due in an hour and we have only 14 out of 20 slides done, so I'd like to finish them up as soon as possible." The two looked at me, an awkward silence as I showed an uncomfortable grin. Janet rolled her eyes before pulling her laptop closer to the body on the desk, mumbling beneath her breath, "The earth is still a sphere."
Jackson just chuckled lightly at her inability to give up before typing away on his computer. I flashed the two of them a small grin, going to edit my slides when my phone began to vibrate in my pocket. I cracked my laptop before sliding my hand into my hoodie pockets, removing the metal box to see 'Lover' on my screen. Immediately I felt giddy, that childish smile forming on my face. "Hey guys, give me a second," I said as I stood to my feet, pushing my desk seat in, "I'll be right back."
"We know, we know," Janet teased, making me scoff playfully at her response, "Boyfriend's calling."
"Whatever," I said, "I'll be quick!"
Jackson and Janet hummed as I turned on my feet and made my way out of the lecture hall, answering the call once I made it into the hall. "Hi handsome," I said, seeing as Jungkook entered his car, "Everything okay?"
"Hi pretty," He said as he looked about his car, his lips forming a small pout before he sighed, "And no, everything is not okay. I cant find my wallet, and you know how I am about going anywhere without it." He groaned before sitting in the driver's seat and looking down at the small screen, "I think I may have left it in your purse. Can you check for me?"
"Unfortunately, I'm in class and my purse is in my bedroom," I said, frowning seeing his hopeless face, "I can bring it to you after my class?"
