It had been 3 months since Brianna and Jungkook last spoke, and for the past 3 months, she lied in the same spot in her bedroom. Her bed even began to form a dent in the shape of her body, a mold of where she had been for the past few months. Admittedly, Brianna wasn't herself. Her hair wasn't done, her lashes had fallen off, and her nails looked atrocious. However, her hygiene was still impeccable, but it took all of her just to get up and do the things necessary for her health.

Brianna hadn't been eating right, and it got so bad that she hadn't talked to anyone in weeks. Every day was the same. Just her, binge-watching Insecure, and tubs of cookies and cream ice cream against the world. Not a day passed where she couldn't look at herself in the mirror, not recognizing the reflection looking back at her. Brianna typically was so obsessed with the way she looked, but now? All she saw was a lying cheater. Nothing more, and nothing less. So much time had passed, and she too, started to think she had actually cheated on him.

Brianna hadn't been in class for weeks, not ever wanting to see or even confront Darron, because he'd already won. Jungkook wouldn't speak to her, Jermaine unfollowed her everywhere, and even Cheshire unadded her on TikTok. The only people who cared to check in were Leiya and Mariam, who were currently in her bedroom, cleaning up the mess Brianna was too lazy to touch.

"Seriously Brianna," Mariam said, picking up the girl's laundry off the floor and stuffing it into her laundry basket, "I get it, mama. You're going through a hard time, but it's been 3 months and you leave in a week. You need to get up and clean this bedroom." Brianna groaned, rolling on her side to face the wall. It was embarrassing enough how bad her room had gotten. It wasn't filthy, like food and old snacks lying around and bringing in bugs and rodents, but it was weeks-old laundry all over the floor. Her desk was disorganized, the refrigerator was empty, and her covers were all disheveled on my bed. However, it was more embarrassing having them clean it for her.

"I'll clean it," Brianna said to them, feeling guilty, "You guys can go, really. I don't need you to do anything." Leiya and Mariam looked at one another, sharing an empathetic look. They pitied her because they and Brianna knew the truth, but Jungkook not knowing? That was enough to send Brianna spiraling. Mariam sighed, dropping the basket, and nudging Leiya to speak with her best friend. "Talk to her," Mariam uttered, Leiya looking at her with a baffled expression, "You're her best friend. Do your job."

"And what are you," Leiya nudged her back, whispering at her girlfriend, "Are you just the help or something? You say something!" The two of them quietly bickered back and forth, pushing each other closer to the girl's bed. Brianna could hear the slapping of their hands as they childishly tussled, the girl sighing. "I can hear you," She said, rolling back over to look at them, stopping the two in their tracks, "I'm fine, really. Just go, I'll clean it."
