HOUSTON, TX
After a hard day of classes and a week of getting accustomed to college life, Brianna had been making her way to her dorm room, accompanied by her newfound companion Darron. Ever since their first day of classes, Darron had been walking Brianna to her dorm, and the two had been getting to know one another on their 15-minute walks. Darron had somehow found his way to get his arm wrapped around Brianna's neck, and from an outside perspective, the two looked like an attractive couple.
"You still ain't told me if you were coming to the party next Friday or not," Darron said, using his other hand to wipe the sweat off of Brianna's nose. She held his arm, looking over and up at him. "That's because I don't even know if I'm coming or not," she retorted, a sigh slipping from between the boy's lips. He had been walking her to and from every location, he even bought her lunch the other day, but still she wasn't budging. He was shocked she even allowed him to touch her at this rate, she seemed so cold towards him sometimes. "Why you be acting like that bruh?" He asked, removing his arm, feeling slightly frustrated. Brianna turned to him with her arms crossed over her chest, "Act like what?"
"Like you don't fuck with me or something," Darron responded, crossing his arms over his chest as well. Brianna's face shifted into a snarl-like mug, "So if I don't come to your party that means I don't fuck with you?" She asked, "What if I got shit going on?"
"You can at least say that or something," He said, making the girl roll her eyes before pinching the bridge of her nose. He was so forward about his attraction to her, but she couldn't lie that paranoid her. Why was he in such a rush to get closer to her? Or to get her to like him? Brianna didn't have any reason for not wanting to go besides that, and the fact she just wasn't much of a party person. She removed her hand from her face and looked at him. "Darron," she said kindly, grabbing his hand. "I'm gonna try to come to your party, but I can't make any promises."
A small grin of satisfaction appeared on the boy's face before he slid his arm back around her shoulders. "That's all I wanted to hear." Brianna scoffed at his antics, allowing him to guide her down the hall of her dormitory to her dorm room. However, as they approached her room, she spotted a familiar person standing at the door and leaning against it as they scrolled on their phone. Darron looked, a smirk of mischief appearing on his lips before he spoke. "Yo lil' boyfriend down there." Brianna looked at the door, seeing Jungkook, and was immediately confused by his sudden appearance. He had been avoiding her all week, so she felt put off by him thinking he could just show up to her room unannounced. So put off she ignored Darron's slick comment and made her way to her door.
As she stepped in front of him, the top of her head appearing in his view slightly above his phone, Jungkook looked up at the girl. The two just looked at each other, and oddly enough, it seemed like Jungkook had nothing to say. He had been preparing himself for the next time he saw her, consistently rehearsing what he would tell her and how. However, at this moment, he couldn't look past the fact that not only did she look good, but that she was out and about looking good. He knew she should have been back to her room way before her current arrival, which raised a cause for concern. "Where have you been?" He asked her, sliding his phone into his pocket.
