Chapter 42 : Pulp

"So he says , 'do I look stupid' and I reply with , 'no but you were probably born stupid!" I laughed, getting odd looks from everyone else , "tuff crowd I guess...." I added, rolling my eyes at the others.

Konane, Nate , Amitola and I were at smoothie purée, just to hang out and catch up.

"So where's Yeri? Why isn't she here?" Konane asked Amitola , taking a sip of his banana smoothie. "She's busy .....with stuff" Amitola plainly responded, I knew that wasn't the reason, the reason was because Nate was here.

Amitola , Liam and I were the only ones aware of what went on with Yeri and Yeonjun, lying about why she was avoiding Nate and in turn Konane , was hard.

Nate was sat across me , focused on his laptop. Ever since the kiss situation 2 weeks ago he had drowned himself in nothing but his studies, you could say his books were acting as some sort of escape for him.

"Alright....anyways I have good news!" Konane excitedly said , making all of us turn to him in curiosity , "spill!" Amy inquired , "you're officially looking at a top pick runner up for the football team next year!!!" Konane beamed, smiles made their way across all our faces, even Nate.

"That's great! I've always wanted a friend on the football team!" I admitted, "why's that?" Nate asked , "Dude! Do you not know about the perks they get? Konane tell this uneducated fool" I respond, causing Nate to let out a small laugh.

"Well basically people on the school sport teams usually get these 'perks' like access to some of the best tutors , state of the art training facilities on campus and great networking opportunities. These are only for the players though, so if I do get picked I can't guarantee you guys reaping the benefits" Konane explained.

"Who cares...I still get to have bragging rights, 'my roommate is the teams quarter back' sounds cool doesn't it?" I respond , making everyone laugh.

"Well we hope you get drafted Konane , you deserve it!" Amitola added giving Konane a smile , one he reciprocated.

"Oh my gosh did she actually slap him!?" A girl sat behind us screams, so loud that everyone turned to their table. "Wait I know that girl.....she's my senior!" The guy sat next to her added.

"What are they watching?" Konane asked , "I don't know but whatever it is, sounds like Lara would love to talk about it for the next pod episode, I'll be back!" I answered, turning around to ask the girl what she was watching.

"Um...excuse me...may I ask what you guys are watching?" I politely ask , "oh....sure... it's this video of some girl and I'm assuming her boyfriend having a full on fight at the amusement park" she replied, lifting her phone up and showing me her screen.

Pause.

My eyes widen and I grab the girls phone , "hey!" She yells but I ignore her as I show the others the video. Their jaws all drop.

"My phone! Hello?" The girl grunted, "oh...sorry, can you send that to me?" I respond with my jaw tightened.

The girl airdrops the video and I watch it again. Only getting angrier.

Nate then suddenly grabs my phone before I yanked it back from him.

"Jeremiah give me your phone." He sternly demanded. I turn to Amitola and she slowly nods her head. "Jeremiah...phone" Konane spoke, stretching his hand out for my device before I sighed and gave it to him.

The two of them watched the video. It was a recording of Yeri and Yeonjuns conversation from the amusement park. It seems people took videos....and now they're going around.
