2 weeks later

Natasha's POV

I was fixing Sid's tie as he was getting ready to leave for the airport.

"Can't you stay?" I mumble

"Hmm?" He raised his eyebrow "I wish I could"

"Please stay na" I requested looking up at him.

He smiled, "I can't sweetie"

"Why?"

"I can't leave my company depended on someone else"

I got sad.

"But—" I was about to continue but decided to remain silent as it was of no use arguing against him; he was right anyway.

He sighed, "I know, I also don't want to leave you alone but it's just 2 months okay? You enjoy here with our family and after 2 months we'll be back in Italy anyway"

I nodded.

He kissed my forehead gently rubbing my belly for a brief moment.

"Now smile for me and let's go downstairs, it's time for me to go or else I'll be late," He said gripping my chin gently.

I nodded, he wrapped his arm around my waist and we went downstairs, his luggage had already been moved downstairs by Rohin and Ayush.

He went straight towards his parents and touched their feet.

Am I supposed to do it too? But I'm not going anywhere.

Should I also touch their feet?

I was hesitant and unsure of what to do but I decided so I just stood there silently watching them.

"Travel safely okay?" Mom said caressing his head.

"Yes and don't worry about Natasha, she'll be happy with us," Papa said with a smile glancing at me, I smiled back.

Sid nodded with a small smile, "Of course"

After talking with everyone we moved out towards his car, his luggage was loaded in the car and he sat inside on the back seat.

He waved a last goodbye to everyone but gestured for me to come closer, I approached him and he grabbed my hand.

"Bye, see you soon love" He smiled kissing the back of my hand, I immediately pulled my hand away and heard a few chuckles from behind me.

"Mm-hm, bye" I smiled not showing my shyness.

The car drove away and we all went inside.

I hope so he reaches Italy safely.

My whole day went like this, I was not allowed to do any household chores.

How fast the night changes right?

Before, I was scolded and beaten up for not doing household chores properly.

Time passes...

After having lunch I went to our bedroom and picked up my phone sitting on the bed.

I saw a lot of missed calls and messages from one person, Siddharth.

My phone was on silent.

I called him immediately and he picked up after a few rings.

"Hell-"

"Why were you not picking up my calls, you were not replying to my texts either," He said, a bit annoyed

"Sorry...I was downstairs having lunch, My phone was silent and was in the bedroom"

"It's okay...anyways what are you doing?" He asked, more calm than before.

"In our bedroom, will sleep soon, Did you reach Italy?"

"No, but I will in an hour"

We talked for a while, I felt a cold breeze entering the room as I glanced towards it, The window was open.

"One minute, let me close the window," I said on the phone.

I put the phone down and get up walking towards the window.

As I was about to close it I saw something suspicious.

A tall, Silhouette standing behind a tree almost as if peaking at something, it was looking up.

Maybe towards me?

My heart started beating fast, it was something else, maybe fear? I don't know.

It waved towards me, I panicked and quickly closed the window along with the curtains.

I swallowed hard.

My phone which was on the bed rang again, I walked towards it picking it up, It was Sid calling me again.

"Hello?" I placed the phone over my ear.

"Where were you? I had to call you again to make you remember that you were on a call with me" He said jokingly.

"Ah...yes sorry" I tried talking normally.

Should I tell him what had happened just now?

No...no no...He is going to Italy to focus on his business, If I tell him what just happened he will be worried and will not be able to focus on work. And I don't want it.

"Babe?" He spoke.

"Yes?"

"What happened?"

"Ugh...nothing"

"But...you're not sounding cheerful, are you tired?"

"Yes, actually I'm very sleepy right now that's why I'm not being able to focus on whatever you're saying, sorry"

"It's okay, go and rest alright?"

"Hmm...bye"

"Bye, Love you"

"Mm-hm, love you too," I said and hung up.

I sat on the bed glancing at the now-covered window.

I should not think too much about it now.

I lay down on the bed and pulled the covers on me.

I was about to turn off the light to sleep but I heard a knock against my window as if someone threw a pebble towards it.

I got worried and sat up staring at my window, I will be safe because we have grills.

Even if the glass breaks the grills will save me.

I kept staring at the window for a few minutes, but nothing happened.

I guess everything is fine.

I lay down again and turned off the light pulling the covers over me.

"Jai Shree Krishn" I mumbled god's name before closing my eyes and falling into a deep slumber.
