December 24th 201M B.C 2026 (Christmas Eve)

The full moon was out high above the sky, giving off its beautiful enchanted glow for the Voldcalderian goers down below who were still out and about going on with their business. Icy, powdery flakes fell from the sky that came down in millions, paving the way for many dinos and humans alike, almost as if tonight was supplied with an endless supply to fit the season and the joyous occasion.

Icicles hung from many outside shops, store fronts, and entrances that caused many people to steer around them so they wouldn't get a noggin full of ice this season; however, that didn't stop a group of kids from making snowballs and throwing the icy spheres at the icicles as a game of who could knock the most with a single throw. In the end, they had to scram when the known shopkeeper of the area came out with a snowball launcher of his own to wreak havoc upon these damn kids.

He shot all the icicles down with precise precision, making them fall straight onto the sidewalk, splattering onto the ground into thousands of tiny, razor-sharp pieces. He narrowed his eyes on the fleeing kids and rested his literal bazooka on his shoulder. The man rolled his eyes and went back inside before the snow picked up again since it was going to snow more tonight.

More adults and kids walked down the cold, wet, white-paved sidewalks. Many of them hand in hand as they took in the scenery that was of a fully festive Voldcaldera Bluffs in the peak of Wintertime. Lights strung up from tree to tree that rhythmically danced along with red, green, and blue with a mix of whites and golds. Artificial trees were set up along the shop entrances, sidewalks, and even along the roads to welcome new tourists that were visiting for this very reason.

It was known around that the citizens of the huge, glowing, festive city took pride in how bright they could make it during the holiday months.

The snow doesn't show signs of stopping, and many dinos and humans have brought some corn for popping. Many lights were turned down low in the homes so the fireplace would illuminate and heat up the home naturally just for this wondrous occasion. It was perfect inside and out, so let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

While the outside was a winter fest that many dinos and humans took the opportunity to stay inside from, especially the dinos who stayed with inside and bathed underneath the artificial heat lamps the restaurants and stores provided, however, the insides were crowded with many humans and dinos alike seeking the warmth, coziness, and the free hot chocolate that most stores provided as they tried to do one thing, something they should have done weeks, or maybe even a month ago by now.

Many fathers, mothers, stepmothers, stepfathers, brothers, sisters, or just legal guardians found themselves stuck in lines that excelled over the hundred mark. Lines that went on for hours and lines that were somewhat, how you say, downright unjolly. Many of them threw items, stole presents from the less unfortunate parents, and some even thought it would be smart to run out of the store before then getting tazed to the ground by the security guard that has been working nonstop, just because of this damn holiday.

Families got together and spent it with their loved ones. Many of them invited old, new, distant, and estranged relatives to start anew. It was the perfect time of the year to begin again and start anew with yourself. It didn't matter who you were or what you did; you were family, and that was all that mattered.

Only then... This wasn't the case for all dinosaurs and homosapiens that were underneath the moonlight of Christmas.

Her digits brushed across the gold bow that was strapped to the light blue and crystal white present that was littered all around with snowflakes. The present was pretty big for her, but to others around, it would be considered a medium size compared to what the older kids had gotten. Every kid in the large facility had gotten a singular present that was gifted by the church, which was associated in partnering with the younglings of the children's center.
