June 18th 201M B.C 2028 (The Night Of Father's Day In The Nitos' Household.)
The air was thick with awkwardness as the two stared at each other for what felt like forever. After a few minutes of awkward silence and just staring, a green hand placed itself on Inco's back as they scooted right beside him. She was unaware of who was at the door, not really caring, but did instantly when she saw who it was. "Inco? What's going on? Who's at the doo-"
Now, both husband and wife were locked on the man who stood outside their home. The silence was getting to the man who came unannounced; he wanted to say millions of things, but nothing but jumbled-up words would come out of his mouth if he tried. He began to hold his breath, almost forgetting how to breathe, until another figure chimed in from out of nowhere. The little pink creature had run up behind Inco and his gator wife, sprinting behind, latching herself around his waist, and nuzzling up against him.
The older man was stunned at the sudden appearance of a child within the Nito family home. His eyes began glancing back and forth between the baryonyx, to the young man who he had 'watched' grow up, and the young little girl who was currently latched to the man's leg protectively and cautiously as she whines silently.
He stared at the axolotl for a few more seconds before something finally happened. She glanced up at her father and then back to where the figure was standing. She could sense and smell him; she could smell something delectable about him, as if he had eaten something good before he had arrived here.
He stared down at the little girl with wide eyes. A look of shock and fatigue was displayed across the older man's face as they were greeted by the older man, who stood flummoxed outside.
It had been a long journey over the flight, and all he wanted to do right now was rest after that five-star meal he had on the plane, but instead of turning in and getting the much-needed rest his body craved, he had an obligation to come straight here to finally be the man Inco wanted him to be.
He hoped it wasn't too late.
It's never too late...
Right?
He saw the little girl one more time and took in how nervous and panicked she looked. The portly bald man brought his hand to his own scalp and brushed it as well. He brought his hand down his face and glided his fingers across his trimmed black beard. His digits shook nervously as he watched the boy-the man-look down at him with an incomprehensible visage that made his gut tie into a knot.
He was about to break the silence after finally finding that piece of his shattered courage that he came here with, until a dimiutive, pipsqueak-like voice croaked out from the little creature that had clung to Inco's waist. That had completely thrown out any courage he had; anything that was left was stomped into dust at the sight of her. "Dad? Who's at the door?"
The older man's eyes shot open. He began to shake his head and take a few more double takes to make sure he had heard correctly, but finally came to the conclusion that what he had heard was correct.
'Dad? Inco is... a father?'
Inco looks down at the young little girl, who's clutching his waist tightly as she worriedly glances up at him and then back to burying her face into his side. He doesn't waste time reassuring the pink little creature that everything is alright and he has everything under control. She doesn't really know how to take this when she could easily hear how apprehensive he was, but she did go along with it since she doesn't want to upset her father, who seems to be already agitated for reasons that go over her head.
He watches as Inco backs up into the home with the little pink amphibian in tow, still latched around his waist, so he has to carefully guide her back inside awkwardly. Inco had led the little pink amphibian back into the home, and the man could now see a lot of decoration, including portraits, frames, large framed picturescapes that were captured, and even some elegant oil paintings that looked almost lifelike.
