June 19th 201M B.C 2028 (The Early Morning Hours In Voldcaldera Bluffs)

The morning sun had risen once again above all of Voldcaldera Bluffs, which meant that the start of the next day had come. Now that the festivities were all but over since the Father's Day extravaganza that had occurred between all the closely connected families in Voldcaldera yesterday had ended, everyone was back to their usual cheerless, boring routine as if it were still December and Christmas had ended.

The day after was bright and sunny again for the Nito family. Zephaniah even got started early on making some food but almost burned down the kitchen when he realized his cooking skills had completely up and vanished after he spent years being pampered by chefs when eating out. Inco ran down the stairs frantically at the sound of the fire alarm going off, with a waddling, sleepy gator on her knees descending the steps to find out what the cause was for the alarm to go off as well.

Luna was even woken up from the alarm as well; not even her waterbed could drown out the piercing sounds from the annoying fire alarm that had given the family an early morning wake-up call. The little lotl rubbed her eyes and gave out a large toothless yawn, stretching her arms wide open before going to her father and falling asleep at his foot.

The family of three watched as the guilty man hosed down the stove with a fire extinguisher, all three of them watching silently as the stove was coated with the foamy, cold substance. The parents watched in awe as they saw that the man had completely ruined a great batch of eggs and bacon.

How the hell does someone ruin eggs and bacon?

Inco helped out with his father; both of them cleaned the area while Olivia went back upstairs with Luna in tow behind her. Both females were groggy and just wanted to get back to sleep. Inco wanted to sleep a few more hours but saw that by the time they had finished cleaning up the stove, it was already past time for him to be up and at 'em in the morning. Inco had his father stay a good distance away from the stove after what had just happened; he placed a ban on his father from ever touching his stove ever again.

His father felt guilty at what he had accidentally done. Inco easily picked up on this and quickly felt bad for banning his father away from the kitchen. The taller man sighed and walked back to his sheepish father and offered him something that the man wouldn't ever forget. That entire morning, the taller man with shades and his father spent that early morning baking and making an extravagant breakfast for his girls, his father, and then himself.

The meal went way quicker than it was made, only lasting for a few minutes as it was engulfed into Olivia's mouth. Luna ate rather slower than usual, which alarmed Inco. He was going to ask what was wrong but instantly shut his trap when he heard a loud 'clank!' chime out when the little axolotl's head fell face first into the bowl of cereal. The milk and cereal chunks splashed out, which caused all the occupants at the table to jump when they saw the lotl fall face first into her cereal and begin snoring in the milk.

Olivia had to conceal her giggles and resist the urge to record this when she saw an effervescence of bubbles begin trickling out of the bowl as she snored loudly into her bowl of uneaten cereal. Olivia broke down into full laughter when Inco pulled her up from the bowl of cereal and placed her against his chest. She had small cereal chunks all over her face, so he grabbed some paper towels to wipe the chunks off her small snout and dry off her soaked blonde hair.

He carried her up the stairs while the two parents stared at the Nito patriarch of the home. They watched as he excused himself from the table to take her back to bed; she was already fast asleep now, arms locked around his neck, and her snoot now pressed into his neck. The older Nito and Gator watched as the father walked to the stairs and then began ascending them to get his little daughter to bed.
