It felt as if there was something wrong with the atmosphere of the party. She could immediately sense a danger that was coming, in which she had no clue what it really was. The spine-chilling tingle that she usually got when she awoke from a dream was the same tingle that let her know that something was definitely wrong. It wasn't until she grabbed her wheel to spin herself to face the open yard and road that she finally understood why her natural instincts of flight were shouting at her.
Everything around her stopped when she saw the ominous tall figure walking towards her with narrowed eyes, all the while holding her expensive purse by her side. Gulping, Olivia saw the one person that she really hoped would've made a one last-minute decision not to join, hoping that whatever reptilian lord that roamed up above would listen to her prayers and make the woman disappear.
She wasn't heading towards her table, in which she praised a silent hallelujah since she saw the tall, jet-black-haired, sun-shaded woman kept her eyes trained on Olivia as she walked on the sidewalk to the Aaron's home, the sound of her clicking high heels drowning out any noise around-pretty impressive since the girls that she was talking to were extremely loud.
She couldn't see her eyes, those condescending, never-pleased eyes that always seemed to burn right into her soul through the woman's own protective eyewear, but she knew for a fact that she was staring glaring daggers at her. Instinctively, Olivia placed her claws atop her expansive clothed belly out of protection for her babies, but that was the worst thing she could have done.
It was a split second, but enough for Inco's mom to get a good view, even with the dimly lit setting that she and her son are forced to inhabit.
Underneath her shades, brown eyes full of loathing, shot right open when she saw a very noticeable bump that was accompanied on her stomach region. It was obvious to her; Olivia was pregnant.
She would have marched over to the gator, even doing so in the process by changing her movements to go off the pathway that led to the doorway to the home onto the grassy lawn, but only to be intervened by her son, who snatched her by her purse. He gave his mother a hard glare, a glare that was met back with an even hotter burn right back at him, from mother to son. He had his grip on her purse, making sure that his fingers were tightly curled around the precious item so if she tried anything, he'd have some leverage to hold against her.
Tugging her forward and then frowning at his wife to give her an expressional apology with his face, he tugs on the purse and drags his mother inside, away from where the kids and the party were being held.
He was already regretting having her come over. This is what he gets for being a good son, wanting to have his mother part of his life, part of HER grandchildren's lives! That's all he really wanted, just both of his parents finally being normal parents instead of being at each other's throats. It was clear to him that this would be harder than he thought-outright, flat impossible was the alarm playing over and over in his mind.
She put up some resistance in the first half but eventually fell into defeat when Inco had let her know who was really in charge of things when he showed her how strong her
really was, being able to tear the expensive purse from its base and haul her over with no problem, courtesy of having a dino wife.
All the while still sneering at her cursed daughter-in-law, Inco's mother growls at her son and spits at her. "How dare you? She got herself knocked up by some other man, and you're okay with that? I'm ashamed to be associated with you; I can't believe you are the little boy I saw grow up. I can't believe it, settling down for a banged-up street slu-"
