Inco would never pass up the opportunity to spend time with his family; after all, him taking a break from his job was for his family so he could spend time with them while they were at a delicate point in their lives when he was needed most. Don't get him wrong when he says this because he loves his family a damn whole lot; he would do anything to keep them happy and satisfied-anything at all to keep the both of them safe from any sort of danger. He loves them more than himself, but sometimes he wants to drive a metal pipe through his forehead whenever they go on long drives together.
Unfortunately for the family of three and a half, they were forced to head to the pet store that was almost two hours away since the one they always went to had already closed by the time they had gotten there. The three were upset, more so of Olivia and Inco, but they pushed it aside, decided to suck it up, and finally drove off so they could get Guts' pet supplies. They had a lot on the list, most stuff they couldn't get from Dino Mart since the one near by practically had nothing with how bare bones the place was of supplies.
They didn't even have the gummy worms that Luna liked to snack on; what kind of place DOESN'T sell gummy worms?
The car ride wasn't all that bad in reality; the only down part was driving the almost two-hour trip over, but other than that, it was a relatively peaceful and exciting trip for the family once again. This time, thankfully, Olivia had the tablet and was the one who would put on the songs to play through the speakers. He was grateful that this was the case because if Luna had the tablet, there would be another Barbie Girl incident.
Look, he didn't hate the Barbie Girl song; he loved the obnoxious high voice the female lead had and the catchy tune, but he, or any person in general, would go crazy if they had to listen to Barbie Girl on repeat for the entire duration of an hour or more. He wouldn't dare object to his daughter's choosing; she had the tablet, and it was her right to play a song for the car ride, but good God, couldn't she have played something else?
The bright side, sort of, is that he now knows the entire Barbie song from memory, being able to recite the entire catchy bouncy tune from memory without any trouble.
There was extensive mental damage that was inflicted on his mind that day after that long car ride.
The drive this time was something to look forward to since Luna wasn't the tyrant of the tablet any longer; thank god. His ears were saved for the time being, until she would inevitably get in control next and then would hundred percent send Inco into mental turmoil and melt him down into a small puddle of his own misery. He could finally relax in his seat and drive to the relatively 'soothing' classic rock that his wife had put on. Finally, something of class he could listen to-"HOLY SHIT, PEAK!"
A familiar rift began playing over the radio that made Inco wince at how sharp and loud the electric guitar was. He didn't dare to lower it down since there was a high chance that if he moved his hand to the radio knob to lower it, his hand would definitely be chomped off by his pregnant wife. Don't get him wrong, he loved the song that was playing, but the electrical rifts and the hammering of drums shook his body to a point he HAD to risk it all and lower it down for not only himself but for his daughter's eardrums also.
The gator seemed to not mind; he was glad to see this outcome that he did not expect; he was for sure expecting to have lost a limb. He turned to his right, shook his head with a pleased grin, and then continued to focus on the road in front of him. His wife began bouncing in her seat and hummed to the catchy tune and sick freaking beat. Even though the original song from the famous pixel art game wasn't playing but a cover, that didn't mean she wouldn't chime up and cheer when the only vocals in the song came up to be sung. It was funny to him to see her this way.
