Chapter 59- I Wani Have A Happy Hatchday!

July 19th 201M B.C 2028 (Noon.)

There could have been so many other things she could have been doing on this lovely day in the city. It was a hot, sunny day outside, hot enough to boil eggs on the asphalt-the usual occurrence for Voldcaldera Bluffs.

She had such a good time this morning. Last night was absolutely heavenly; having a candlelit dinner with her boyfriend while her daughter slept-though the candlelit dinner consisted of merely takeout and already stationed lamps that were found around the apartment-was something she would do in a heartbeat again. Even though it wasn't exactly what she was expecting it to be when he told her he had a candlelit surprise for her, she wouldn't trade that night they had for anything in the world.

She has everything she'll ever need, right here. She has her overly obedient boyfriend that tends to her every need, making sure to always treat her like a queen even when she barks at him to cut it out because it makes her blush. She has people surrounding her that have her back at all times. It was a weird feeling to have so many people actually care about her... It was a feeling she could get used to. She finally had things she always wanted to give her daughter now that she and her boyfriend are able to pool money together to make her apartment a much better home-she was so happy that the many hours she was putting in were finally being acknowledged with the pay increase she got from her second job.

Though it was a slight increase, it was a grace for her.

Now that she got help from her boyfriend, with the both of them pooling money together to get things off their bucket lists-the main important one was to finally get out of Skin Row and have him FINALLY move in with her into a brand new apartment that will accommodate their family. The pink and white parasaur wipes sweat from her brows as she kneels down on one knee to get into the crook of the tire. She has been working left and right since the morning without stopping. It didn't make it any better that the beaming Voldcalderian sun was practically cooking her alive as she worked in this shoebox of an auto body.

The place reeked of sweat, oil, and a trickle of copper from the blood that was periodically spilled from these amateurs dropping the crap onto themselves, ending up then hurting themselves in the process. She doesn't know where the hell her boss keeps finding these idiots-how was SHE stuck in here with THESE imbeciles? She has put SO much time, so much effort, bloodshed, and tears-HOURS-into this job, yet she was STILL stuck down here with these newbies.

Pulling off her gloves from her hand, she uses that now free hand to wipe her drenched blonde bangs that cover her forehead. She could be at home, lazing about with the most precious thing in her world, yet she was called in at the last minute because someone failed to come in today. Snarling to herself, she grips the small necklace that clutches around her neck and against her chest. Kissing the necklace that was created by her daughter-with help from her boyfriend, Vincent-she sighs into the small, hastily crafted gems that were just merely glued together to make something beautiful that was in her eyes. "I'm doing this for her... I'm doing this for her... I'm doing this for her..."

Letting go of the necklace, the sole thing that is keeping her going right now, even with how INCREDIBLY tired she is from her adventures with her boyfriend last night in the bedroom, Mia continues to slave away to make extra cash for her family. When she gets out of here, she is IMMEDIATELY forcing Vincent to shower with her whenever they get back.
