My knees felt numb as I sat on a chair on the bus stand. My fingers trembled terribly as I felt a tide of adrenaline wash over me.

I met him.

My eyes teared up. I stood up, panicking, squealing, crying, and blushing like an idiot.

I met him.
I squealed.

But I didn't tell him how much I love him.
I pouted.

He's so handsome...no..he's....he's an angel...

I choked on my tears of happiness.

As soon as Iry arrived at the bus stand, I almost ran towards her, holding both of her hands as I jumped in excitement, moving in circles. My tears flowed continuously.

Iry repeated while jumping with me enthusiastically.

"Him" I emphasized, making her eyes go wide with realization.

"You met him?" She stared at my crying face in awe before pulling me into a hug.

"Geez...move, I can't breathe."

She tried to free herself from my tight grip as we both laughed. Our laughter echoing through the quiet streets. The rain had stopped just awhile ago.

I felt so overwhelmed that this time, I really started crying. My emotions taking me into another world.

I love him so much, don't I?

Iry sat beside me on another chair, patting my back while giving me a side hug, murmuring sweet nothings to calm me down.

"It's okay, it's okay. Tell me how you met him?"

I repeated the scenario in my head while speaking. My tears could make a sea now as I realized how beautiful the moment felt.

Him. It's just him, and only him.

I took out the chain from my pocket. The silver locket engraved with a cursive letter.

y fingers were still trembling as I held the chain in my palm, as if it was a delicate flower.

"He gifted me this."

Iry's eyes widened slightly as a small gasp left her lips. My eyes were staring down at the chain, the locket and the letter 'J'. My admiration for him growing with each passing second.

I brought the chain up, holding it close to my face, feeling the cold metal which surprisingly spread warmth through my chest.

I inhaled sharply when the faint scent of his cologne hit my nostrils. A soft smile played on my lips as I imagined hugging him.

Will I be at fault if I fall in love with him for real after this only?

I played my favorite love songs on shuffle after we reached our hotel. The ride to our hotel was silent as I felt at ease, my restless soul felt at ease, after so long.

"Do you want to wear it?" Iry chimed in, making me snap out of my world. I was thinking about him.

My love for him felt pure, something so sacred which I was afraid to share with anyone else. Afraid that it might get stained.

I looked at her after looking at the chain briefly, a soft smile on my lips.

"Should I?"

"Girl, he gifted you this! Wear it!"

Iry tried to persuade me as I took the chain from her hands, holding it ever so softly.

"No...I was just thinking...if I'm really...capable of wearing it?"

Iry gave me a look.

"Seriously. You'll get a smack from me. Wear it!"

I chuckled, slowly wearing the chain and letting it rest around my neck. I felt a shiver ran down my whole body at the thought.

It was his chain. It had rested around his neck just like this. And now it's resting around mine.

I rested my head on the table.

"I think I'm in love." I murmured softly, closing my eyes.

Iry chuckled, "You indeed are."
