Nandini
Incheon International Airport, South Korea.
7: 27 am.

After collecting my luggage from the lounge, I headed out of the airport.
It felt surprisingly good. I felt happy after returning to Seoul.
My hand unconsciously went to Jimin's necklace that was still resting around my neck.

"I'm here in your city again."

I whispered to the locket. Something within me always kept me whispering sweet things to this locket. It felt close, so close to my heart as if irreplaceable.

And indeed, it is irreplaceable.

I walked out of the airport, trying to book a cab to my office. I needed to report my arrival and submit my documents in the branch.

**

-"We have an apartment prepared for you already."
Chaein, my department head spoke to me with a polite smile.

I bowed my head slightly, flashing a warm smile at her.
-"Thank you very much. I was wondering how I'd manage an apartment so soon."

-"I'll send you the address. You can head home now and take rest. See you tomorrow."
She gave me a side hug and left.

Sighing softly, I started walking out of the office.

My phone showed "8:54 am."

Chaein's text popped up in my notifications within the time I reached the exit of the office.

I pasted the address to book a cab, without thinking much about it.

The clock in my phone stroke half past nine when the cab entered a locality.
My eyes widened slightly as I looked out the window.
Huge parking lot, vast empty space just for walking which almost seemed like a school playground, a garden...no wait, that's a park.

Speaking of parks...
I smiled mischievously,
getting out of the cab and paying the driver.

My eyes roamed around the whole area.

-"Must be for rich people." I murmured to myself, heading to the main compartment building.
I passed my id and a few required information to the receptionist. When I was about to give him my card for payment...

-"Miss, your payment has already been done." he spoke with a smile, giving me the keys of my apartment.
I frowned slightly, but assumed it was paid from the company and headed to take the elevator.

As the elevator door opened, I entered, followed by a tall, familiar figure.

We both were about to press the same button.

9th floor.

I took my hand back, letting the man press the button.
I opened my phone, sending a few texts.

The man cleared his throat, probably trying to grab my attention which he was succes--

My eyes widened when I looked back and up at him. He flashed his charming smile at me.

"Nice to see you again....Nandini."

My head spun a bit, my knees felt weak, making me grab a nearby handle. I blinked and rubbed my eyes. When I realized I wasn't dreaming, I tried to smile too...but couldn't help the blush that crept up my neck.

"H-hi."

Jimin

I noticed her expression and suppressed a grin.

Baby, now how do I tell you what I did to get you here, right in the same elevator, same floor in the same compartment building as me?

My grin finally took over me.

Don't make it obvious, Jimin.
I muttered in my mind.

-"You're back here again?" I tried to act casual, leaning on the elevator wall, keeping both of my hands in the pockets of my sweatpants.

She was blushing, visibly.

Now, we don't want to scare our queen off, do we? Let's approach slowly~

-"Y-yeah, um...I was transferred to Seoul branch from the head office in California."

I nodded, internally beaming with happiness at the way universe worked to bring us together.

-"Oh, I'm a software developer, working in Google." she seemed to bring her blush in control.
I smiled at her.

-"That's great! You're new here, right?"

She nodded, she was getting into her professional personality slowly, but her cheeks remained flushed with a light crimson hue.

She's beautiful.

-"Feel free to reach out to me if you need any help." I smiled at her softly, hoping it would ease her a bit.

But then, my mischievous mind stroke again, making me add

-"I'm always free for you." I smiled, a bit mischief hidden in it.

She blushed again.

Ugh.

Why is she so adorable?

She's like a shy flower. It will bloom slowly when you behave properly, and get curled up immediately if you try to flirt.

She chuckled softly through her flustered expression, murmuring a small "Thank you."

Dude just...
I can't.
I want to keep her in my pocket forever.

-"My pleasure." I smiled, gently this time, trying to let my shy flower bloom again.

The rest of the ride in the elevator was quiet, filled with a comfortable silence.

I stole glances at her occasionally, noticing she was tracing circles on the elevator wall, avoiding eye contact.

I could imagine a train of thoughts running in her mind, she's probably thinking --

"Should I ask him how is he doing? Or should I thank him because of gifting me his locket?"

I chuckled quietly, shaking my head in disbelief.

I noticed her finally looking at me at the sound of my quiet chuckle. But when I turned to look at her, she averted her gaze.

As fast as light. Impressive.

The elevator door opened with a soft cling and I walked out with her.

-"My apartment is right beside yours if you need anything."
I spoke, smiling at her. I bowed my head slightly and walked to my apartment, waving a small bye.

I leaned on the doorway and sighed softly once I entered my apartment.

What do they call Her again?

Laxmi.

Nice. I'll learn more about Indian culture.

I nodded to myself with a smile, walking inside.
