Nandini
California, United States

I've been settled in my apartment in California and working with Google for only a month.

But somehow, I had to get transferred to a branch in South Korea.

I don't understand what's going on since I got the job. It seems as if the universe has been moving strangely.
I do admit that when I first thought of visiting Seoul for a vacation, I had prayed to Kanha to meet me with him accidentally.

But then, we met. We met thrice. And he gifted me his locket.

Why?

"It's a small gift. A token of our first meet." what does that suppose to mean?
And when he showed up at the airport?
But it's true. I was thinking about him the whole night before.

I still remember our meetings vividly. I chuckled softly and shook my head slightly as I remembered his words. He managed to tease me on our very third meet when I was on the verge of missing my flight.

My thoughts got interrupted by a notification. An email from the head office.

They have already booked the flight and it's TONIGHT!?!? How am I supposed to wrap up so soon!?

One way or another, it's good. I haven't settled in here properly yet. And getting transferred to the Seoul branch is something I could think of after two years or so.

But why Seoul only?

Ahhh, Nandini. You don't have time for these. Pack your things, fast.

Jimin
Seoul, South Korea.

-"Hyung, please."

I shook Namjoon Hyung's hands while whining to him.

-"But for what? Tell me first and then I'll think about it."

He made me roll my eyes despite the slight twitch at the corner of my lips.

-"See. That smile again. Why are you blushing like that?"

I felt my ears turning red when he narrowed his eyes at me. I chuckled softly,

-"No, it's just...you know, I...wanted to make a friend. But she keeps blocking--"

-"SHE??!?!"

Namjoon Hyung dramatically exclaimed right beside my ears, cutting me off.

-"Oh, so it's a she, huh?" He smirked at me, making me roll my eyes again.

-"Whatever. She keeps blocking me, so give me a solid idea of how to get her attention and not block me, for the eleventh time."
As I looked at him, I realized what I had just revealed, his smirk widening into a full-blown grin.

-"So, you've already tried ten times before and didn't tell any of us. Nice."
-"It's a secret." I lowered my voice to a conspiratorial whisper.

-"Guggenheim." He lowered his voice as well, that grin never fading. I sighed, feigning exasperation.
-"Fine, fine. Guggenheim Museum it is. Now, help me out please." Namjoon Hyung nodded, wrapping his hand around my shoulder, finally giving in.

-"Really?" He laughed, and I did too, a bit embarrassed.
-"She cursed at you. Wow. That's truly amazing." He laughed again, and I laughed along with him softly.
-"I know right?"
We explored her profile, I mean, not me. Because, I have already seen everything a hundred times, and probably I have memorized it all, already.
-"She's amazing. It just makes me proud that our ARMYs are so great in everything." He speaks, scrolling through her profiles and other links.
-"Yeah. She is. She sings, paints, dances...and if I'm not wrong, she's probably working in Google right now." I spoke, my gaze fixed on the phone screen.
-"Her eyes are beautiful, though." He spoke, watching a particular performance video that she had posted, making me smile wider.

-"They are. This one is my favorite. You know, I got to know about Indian culture more from her profile. It's all so colorful."
I sighed softly, a weird feeling flashing through my heart. But I frowned suddenly.

-"Now, are you going to help me or not? I ain't taking you--"
-"Okay, okay. Geez. So desperate. Nothing over my Guggenheim trip."

He opened her dm, quickly typing out, "Hey. Just saw your paintings, they're really awesome. How do you manage all these things together?"

-"This should work." He spoke, sending the text.
-"But, I'm not saying my real identity here." I didn't realize when a small pout formed on my lips. Namjoon Hyung chuckled.

-"It's okay, you can tell her later. Now, getting her attention and getting a nice text back from her is the first priority. As far as I understood by her profile and the way she blocked you every time..."

I chuckled softly at the mention.

-"I think she doesn't like people who keep texting weirdly. So, I think it'll be better if you keep it professional at first and then try to become her friend." I nodded, smiling.

-"Understood, Hyung. Thank you." He smiled at me, getting up from the couch and patting my back.
-"Now, let's get back to our work. I'm going to the practice room, come soon, okay?" I nodded, watching him walk out of my studio.

My heart skipped a beat when my gazed dropped on her profile again. She just posted a story.

Clicking on it, I frowned slightly. She's at the airport again? Is she already going for business trips? But isn't she an engineer?
My eyes widened slightly as the next story appeared with a text.

"Saying Bye to California, Hi to Seoul."

My heart rate quickened slightly.

She's coming to Seoul?

My mind raced with questions, along with concerns.
Where will she live as soon as she arrives? Does she have any relative here? But the first time, she lived in a hotel. So, probably she's going to be alone here. How will she manage?

I took a deep breath when I realized I was getting riled up, just with the thought of having her in my city.

I chuckled softly, shaking my head in disbelief.

"How will I focus now?" I thought.

Welcome back....
