Jimin

Gosh.

Why am I blushing so much?

Aish.

The look in her eyes was...enough to blow off my mind.

She got so worried.

I should've known better.

A soft sigh left my lips as I paid the bills. Nandini was standing beside me, stealing glances now and then.

Give me some time to process, God...

Or else, I might end up saying I love her.

How did she read my mind like that?

I've never told anyone how I felt. Then how?

Slowly, my smile turned softer as I thought about it.

She's right.

It's not like I haven't tried to pass those insecurities, which I've been carrying since I became a trainee.

I thought those who weren't idol, never knew what it truly felt.

I guess she's really the exception.

As I glanced at her through the corner of my eyes, our gazes met, making me flash a small smile at her.

I know she's still worried.

.
.
.

-"Do you have umbrella?"

I glanced at her and back at the rain pouring.

I got a bit surprised seeing the thoughtful expression on her face.

-"Hey...I'll go get my car. You wait here, alright?"

-"Wait..."

I looked back when she stopped me by holding my hand.

My heart--

She never held my hand on her own.

-"Yeah?"

I watched as a slow smile spread across her lips, excitement lighting up her face once again.

-"Come..."

-"H-huh? Where..?"

-"It's already a bit late, I don't think anyone will see us."

She looked around the street while pulling me along.....in the rain.

-"But we're getting wet--"

-"Let it be.."

Her smile was now softer, enough to persuade me.

But just then, her eyes widened slightly, and I knew what she thought.

-"Will it be a problem for the shows?"

Here we go....

I chuckled softly, watching her expression turning concerned once again.

-"I'm sorry...I forgot about it. Let's go back.."

She tried to walk back towards the cafe.

We weren't much drenched yet.

-"It's okay."

I stopped her this time, tugging at her hand.

-"I'll take a shower when I reach home."

I smiled at her when she looked back at me. The smile regaining it's place on her face.

She walked back closer, still holding my hand.

-"You know...I always wanted to do this.."

-"Hmm?"

-"Get drenched in the rain.."

She replied softly, closing her eyes and inhaling the cool breeze.

It felt as if the raindrops were washing away all my fears, insecurities, and worries away.

-"Now that we're here..."

I started speaking softly. She opened her eyes and looked at me, giving her full attention.

-"Can I get a hug?"

My smile reached my eyes, my heart suddenly raced as I let out my wish in words, hoping she will agree.

Besides....

I'll have to leave for Las Vegas tomorrow.

My heart melted once again at her smile.

What did I even do to meet with someone like her?

She did catch me off guard by hugging me quick enough, as if she was waiting for me to say it.

I closed my eyes and wrapped my arms around her, a soft sigh leaving my lips.

The soft drizzles around us, each of the cool raindrops that soaked us, and the gentle rumbles of the thunder became distant as our journey until now flashed in my mind.

Will she get disappointed if I say that I like her?

Why do I like her?

I smiled to myself as I thought, none of us moving away from the hug.

I don't know...I just know that...she's so much more than she gives herself credit for.

I bet she doesn't have any idea of how much important she is to me.

-"Better?"

Her voice was muffled against my shirt, adding a flutter to my heart at the faint vibration.

-"Hmm..."

I smiled at her as we both pulled back to look at each other.

A low chuckle left my lips before I could hold it back...

She looks adorable. With her doe eyes staring at me with utmost curiosity....perhaps, care?

Her hair and face damp as the raindrops kissed her.

And I'm a bit jealous again.

I wish it were me instead.

-"Why are you staring at me like that?"

Her low voice brought me out of the haze. My smile widened as I noticed the faint blush on her cheeks.

-"You look cute...that's why."

I couldn't help but tuck a damp hair strand behind her ear.

She's looking at me too, but her surprise and blush is too visible for me not to notice.

-"O-okay...now let me go..."

Her quiet stammer made me want to tease her.

A mischievous smirk took over my lips.

-"And what if I don't?"

Her eyes widened slightly, letting me enjoy every bit of the moment.

-"J-jimin...people might see us..."

-"Earlier, you said there weren't many."

-"Y-yeah I did...but l-look...there are people still inside the café, they're looking--"

-"I don't see them looking here."

My smirk widened.

She was trying so hard to wriggle free out of my embrace now.

Hehe.

-"You dug the canal and invited a crocodile yourself, sweetheart."

-"H-huh?"

Her growing shyness turned my smirk into a full-blown grin.

-"Jimin, w-we will catch a cold, right? I-it's not good for you to stay in the rain for so long, l-let's go."

She tried to free herself again, only for me to chuckle and tighten my grip around her.

-"Let's catch a cold, then."
