Soft clings of the wind chimes followed two of them as they entered a café.
Was it meant to be chaos and fun once again?
Maybe not this time.
Nandini chose a table at a corner. Her thoughts only filled with Jimin's wellbeing.
"At least he will get to take off his mask and cap for once."
that's what she thought.
Even though her lips didn't say the reason out loud, her softened gaze made Jimin understand anyways.
They finally let out a physically tired sigh, their hearts still energetic enough like kids.
Jimin watched her as she looked around the café with her deer-like eyes rimmed with kohl, shining with enthusiasm.
Quiet chatters of the people around, the sweet aroma of the coffee and chocolate brownies embracing them in a warm hug.
The moment was too precious not to tug at his heartstrings.
-"What should we order?"
His velvety voice rang out, widening her warm smile.
He fell powerless in front of the way his heart fused every time she smiled, lighting up his world ever so brightly, fading all his worries into thin air.
-"Cold coffee!"
She thumped the table with her small fists, expressing her childlike incitement once again.
He chuckled, the sound low and mushy, filled with affection. He went to place orders.
That gave Nandini a moment to admire - a moment she treasured.
Her prince charming.
The barriers between her eyes and his facial features - gentle but still sharp, were finally gone.
She lost herself in the moment, her heart fluttering.
The slight curve of his lips, so charming yet so delicate as he spoke to the worker.
His silkened gaze, brunette silk hairs falling over his handsome features by the gentle breeze coming through the window.
A silent lightening stroke. Possibly, rain was on its way.
She watched him, her loving gaze glued on his figure and her heart filled with emotions that went unspoken every time.
Something she didn't feel - or maybe, refused to.
Perhaps, it would put him in danger.
As she watched him, her mind filled with the day's events, a thought crossed her mind.
Why did he choose to go out so suddenly?
This time as she watched him, her heart swamped with silent worry and confusion instead.
She managed to notice the dim turmoil, lying secretly behind his polite smile that warmed many hearts.
But not hers.
Not anymore.
What's on his mind?
-"Here you go..."
He placed two of the coffees on the table, sitting across her.
She smiled, her mind still occupied with thoughts from earlier. She didn't have to try now - his exhaustion was suddenly obvious.
-"Thank you."
