We both looked up as it started raining. The full moon shone brightly as the dark clouds splashed the earth with the raindrops they had stored within them.

I couldn't help but smile brightly. My heart was still racing from earlier when her soft fingers brushed against my cheeks.

It happened.

What I saw in my dream came true.

-"It's raining! Let's go back to the temple..."

Nandini spoke, turning around to start already walking inside the temple.

-"Wait! Look, what's that?"

-"Huh?"

I successfully diverted her attention as she turned around to look at where I was pointing.

Taking the chance, I grabbed a fistful of yellow Gulal from the plate she was holding and smeared it on her left cheek before she could react.

Yayy!

I grinned as she blinked her eyes, getting confused for a moment.

-"Happy Holi."

This time, her face lit up with a smile, one that made her look more beautiful with the colors on her face.

Her eyes crinkled at the corners as she realized my trick.

-"You! Wait..."

My eyes widened as she ran to a side of the temple and kept the plate aside, grabbed two fists of colors and started running back towards me.

Oh no...

I chuckled and started running away from her.

-"You think you can catch me?"

-"Yah! Stop! You're cheating!!"

We started running around the courtyard. I dodged every single barrier that came my way and kept running.

Our laughter echoed in the air as we lost ourselves in the moment, not minding the rain wetting us.

-"Ah...I can't run anymore...." 

She stopped and huffed softly, making me stop too.

A flicker of concern passed through my playful mind from earlier. I walked closer to her.

-"Are you tired?"

-"Gotcha!!"

Before I could react, she covered both of my cheeks with the colors. She giggled, finally winning.

-"Smart move, sweetheart."

I muttered with a playful smirk while reaching out to take colors from her hands but she was fast enough to turn around to run away.

And I was fast enough to pull her back too.

I felt her soft gasp as her back hit my chest, my hand holding her wrist gently, so she can't free herself and run away.

I don't know if she can feel my heart racing against her back.

-"Running away so soon?"

I whispered playfully, and grinned when I noticed her cheeks flushing beneath the red Gulal I had smeared on her cheeks.

-"T-this is...cheating, Jimin..."

Oh, how sweet my name sounds coming from her lips.

-"Is it? But you tricked me first..."
